About the Role

Talent Acquisition at Vector is responsible for finding exceptional talent, enabling our growth and ensuring ongoing success of our people. We’re in early stages of building out our Talent team, so we have an exciting role for someone who is motivated to jumpstart their career in technical recruiting! What You’ll Do

  • Prospecting: research candidate markets, gather competitive intelligence, and build compelling, engaging communication outreach in order to develop candidates for Vector’s open positions across the company

  • Qualifying: Develop qualified pipelines of talent for a variety of positions across all groups at Vector 

  • Candidate Management: Monitor and cultivate your candidate pipeline - this includes inbound applicants, but focuses on your ability to conduct significant sourcing outreach for your assigned roles as well as future roles 

  • Candidate Experience: Go above and beyond to ensure each prospect or candidate has a great impression of Vector and positive experience regardless of the outcome

What You'll Learn As You Grow

  • Full Cycle Recruiting: Drive the entire recruiting cycle, from opening a role, resume and interview feedback, to moderating debrief discussions and closing candidates. 

  • Account Management: Hone your talent partnering ability by working directly with our hiring managers to define roles, candidate profiles, search parameters and closing strategies.

  • Qualifying & Interviewing: Create compelling role descriptions and outreach to market the roles successfully. Conduct initial recruiter screens and work to continuously improve your KPIs and funnel conversion metrics

What We’re Looking For

  • Prior professional experience in a prospecting or quota-based role such as Sales Development,  Recruiting, Sourcing, Talent Qualification ideally within a SaaS startup, a recruiting agency or sales team

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills - you’ll be making a first impression and will be expected to influence candidates to engage with us about our open roles

  • Great at building authentic, professional relationships 

  • Conscientious and diligent about results & following through on your commitments

  • Experience using a CRM or applicant tracking system is a plus

Salary Range

$70,000 - $100,000 USD

Individual pay depends on various factors, such as role level, relevant experience and skills, and location.
