The Contract Specialist II will provide comprehensive cradle-to-grave contracting support, ensuring compliance with Federal acquisition regulations and internal procedures. The role requires expertise in administering contracts across their full lifecycle—from solicitation through award, administration, and closeout.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform cradle-to-grave contracting functions in accordance with Federal regulations
- Prepare and post solicitation notices
- Support contract administration, modifications, and closeout activities
- Conduct and manage FPDS (Federal Procurement Data System) reporting
- Utilize acquisition systems to maintain accurate contract records
- Collaborate with program stakeholders to ensure timely procurement execution
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cradle-to-grave contracting
- Current or previous FAC-C Certification or civilian equivalent, such as DAWIA, is required
- Must be authorized to work in the United States (E-Verify required)
- Ability to pass a Government background investigation (including FBI fingerprint check)
- Strong knowledge of Federal acquisition lifecycle processes
- Familiarity with FPDS reporting requirements
- Experience posting and managing solicitation notices
- Proficiency with Government contract management systems
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy under deadlines
