The Community You Will Join:

We are seeking an Internal Mobility Recruiter (Contractor - 12 months) to collaborate with hiring teams across the organization in attracting, engaging, and securing top talent from within Airbnb. This role will focus on partnering with hiring teams throughout the complete internal recruitment lifecycle. This position is dedicated to ensuring an exceptional candidate experience for our internal talent interested in new opportunities.


The Difference You Will Make:

In this role, you will primarily facilitate internal hiring processes to ensure a positive experience for both candidates and hiring managers. You will work closely with the Internal Mobility team and diverse stakeholders across the business and the Employee Experience team. Additionally, you will serve as the regional subject matter expert, offering insights on local nuances and driving process improvements to strengthen the Internal Mobility program and support our organizational success.

This is a 12-month contract position.


A Typical Day: 

Internal Recruitment

  • Host recruitment kick-off meetings with hiring teams
  • Manage and drive the full recruitment process from initial candidate interest to offer
  • Develop a strong understanding of the business and internal hiring processes

Process Management

  • Ensure all interested candidates are eligible for consideration based on global internal mobility guidelines
  • Recommend internal mobility process improvement 
  • Represent the hiring team and recruiting team with integrity and professionalism when partnering with stakeholders

Candidate Experience

  • Oversee the candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, ensuring timely communication regarding role logistics, interview timelines, and facilitating internal compensation discussions.
  • Prepare and coach candidates for team interviews, delivering constructive feedback focused on growth and development.
  • Propose innovative strategies to enhance and create an engaging internal candidate experience.

Stakeholder Management 

  • Ensure stakeholders receive an outstanding experience while maintaining adherence to the established processes and policies.
  • Educate and guide Hiring Managers on the significance of fostering an equitable internal hiring process.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback and continuously improve the internal hiring experience, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.


Your Expertise:

  • 5+ years of comprehensive recruiting experience
  • Ability to thrive in uncertain environments while successfully supporting multiple projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of conveying complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • A strong passion for creating and implementing the best possible candidate experience.
  • Experience in a global company and working across diverse locations is a plus.
  • Familiarity with internal hiring policies and processes is a plus 


Your location:

This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager.
