At Ouster, we build sensors and tools for engineers, roboticists, and researchers, so they can make the world safer and more efficient. We've transformed LIDAR from an analog device with thousands of components to an elegant digital device powered by one chip-scale laser array and one CMOS sensor. The result is a full range of high-resolution LIDAR sensors that deliver superior imaging at a dramatically lower price. Our advanced sensor hardware and vision algorithms are used in autonomous cars, robotics, industrial, and smart infrastructure applications (among many others). If you’re motivated by solving big problems, we’re hiring key roles across the company and need your help!

Responsibilities
  • Draft, analyze, negotiate and administer end to end commercial (sales and supply side) agreements using templates and playbooks; identify contractual risk and develop mitigation strategies, including internal escalation as needed.

  • Assist with licenses, registrations, insurance certificates and various filings
  • Support RFI/RFQ/RFP responses, audit responses, diligence requests and M&A activity
  • Support corporate-level initiatives in collaboration with the GC, Deputy GC, AGCs and other functions.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance Legal Team efficiency and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree
  • 5-8 years of experience in contract administration, contract lifecycle management, paralegal or legal operations within a corporate, legal, or consulting environment (ideally with experience supporting technology, hardware, SaaS, or manufacturing businesses)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience with legal technology platforms (e.g., CLM, e-billing, document management systems) and onboarding new software.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing competing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with global operations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Docusign, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, Gmail, Netsuite and Adobe.
  • Preference working with Legisway, Salesforce, Navex, budgeting software, gantt charts and export control software.
