The Material Scheduler will coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within and between departments according to production schedules. He/she will be handling suppliers from all over the world; following and monitoring deliveries of material.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- The Material Scheduler will coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within and between departments according to production schedules.
- He/she will be handling suppliers from all over the world; following and monitoring deliveries of material.
- The duties include the reviewing and distributing of production, work, and shipment schedules.
- Responsible to coordinate the function in an effort to ensure optimal resource utilization.
- Whilst striving to maximise production efficiency, he/she will concentrate on applying innovative lasting solutions to deliver a step change in enterprise resource planning.
- The Material Scheduler will also be responsible for the monitoring of inventory as per our Company goals.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Familiarity with the development, use and implementation of planning and forecasting information systems.
- Experience in material planning, production planning, purchasing, logistics, or supply chain. Good knowledge of ERP/MRP system, Supplier-management abilities.
- An excellent understanding of integrated supply chain and logistics concepts.
- The ability to communicate supply chain objectives and convey the benefits to the organisation.
- A strong customer-centric approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
