About the Corporate Development & Strategic Partnerships team
Gen Digital's Corporate Development & Strategic Partnerships team is part of the core leadership team that drives the future strategic direction of the business. The team's core responsibility includes developing a long-term strategic roadmap, analyzing market activity, sourcing, evaluating, building relationships with target companies, and executing an inorganic roadmap (strategic partnerships and M&A transactions).

We are seeking a high-performing Corporate Development MBA Intern to join our team for Summer 2025. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience working on high-impact projects that inform Gen’s long-term growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze and understand Gen’s strategic objectives, as well as industry trends to identify, recommend and pursue companies/technologies that can meet those objectives

Conduct research and analysis on potential areas for expansion and targets for partnership or acquisition

Build financial models to evaluate the potential impact of proposed transactions.

Prepare presentation materials and proposals to communicate recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.

Lead cross-functional teams (product, finance, compliance, legal, accounting, etc.) to drive the deal closing process.

Review existing strategic partnership contracts for potential areas of expansion, cost optimization, and renewal opportunities.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing MBA (1 year completed) from top-tier institution

Demonstrated analytical skills, fluency in performing rigorous financial, valuation and other quantitative analyses

Demonstrated experience influencing and communicating effectively across all levels and teams across the organization

High degree of intellectual curiosity and a passion for technology, cybersecurity, and fintech

Prior experience in investment banking, consulting, private equity, venture capital, or corporate development / strategy a plus
