PURPOSE:

The HR Generalist (Recruitment Focus) plays a key role in supporting talent acquisition and core HR initiatives across our Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) organization. This role partners closely with leaders across corporate functions to understand workforce needs and deliver high quality talent in a fast paced, growth oriented environment. In addition to managing the full recruiting lifecycle, the HR Generalist supports broader employee lifecycle activities, contributes to building strong talent pipelines, and helps ensure a positive experience for candidates, hiring managers, and employees alike. This is a hybrid role (3 days in office required) and based out of our corporate office in White Plains.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND DELIVERABLES:

1. Full Cycle Recruitment (Primary Responsibility)

  • Lead the end to end recruitment process for roles across the organization, from intake and sourcing through offer acceptance and onboarding handoff.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to clarify role requirements, success profiles, and competencies aligned with business and functional needs.
  • Conduct and train hiring managers on structured, competency based interviews aligned with industry standards and best practices.
  • Manage all candidate communications, ensuring a high quality, professional experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and HR partners to deliver timely, effective hiring outcomes.

2. Sourcing & Talent Pipeline Development

  • Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies to attract talent in competitive CPG markets, including Supply Chain, Operations, Sales, and Brand Marketing.
  • Build and maintain pipelines for high volume, hard to fill, and niche roles to support current and future hiring needs.
  • Leverage industry networks, job boards, social media platforms, referrals, and direct outreach to identify and engage top talent.
  • Promote fair, inclusive, and equitable hiring practices while ensuring broad and diverse candidate sourcing.

3. Business Partnership & Advisory

  • Serve as a trusted talent advisor to hiring managers and HR Business Partners, providing insight on talent availability, market trends, and competitive intelligence.
  • Coach and enable leaders on effective hiring practices, interview techniques, and sound selection decisions.
  • Review, administer, and manage the employee referral program.

4. Process Excellence, Compliance & Employer Brand

  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant data within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Ensure all recruitment activities align with company policies, employment laws, and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay current on recruiting best practices, tools, and emerging trends within the CPG and broader talent market.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline recruiting processes and enhance the candidate and hiring manager experience.
  • Support employer branding initiatives and hiring communications.

5. Metrics & Reporting

  • Track and report on key recruitment metrics, including time to fill, pipeline health, candidate experience, and diversity indicators.
  • Use data and insights to drive continuous improvement in hiring strategies and outcomes.
  • Provide regular updates to HR and business leaders on hiring progress, risks, and challenges.

6. HR Generalist Support

  • During periods of lower recruitment demand and during peak HR cycle moments, provide support across varies activities, such as onboarding, employee lifecycle processes, special HR projects, etc.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Demonstrated success managing full‑cycle recruitment across multiple functions, ideally within a CPG, manufacturing, or fast‑paced corporate environment
  • Strong sourcing expertise with the ability to build proactive talent pipelines for high‑volume, hard‑to‑fill, and specialized roles
  • Proven experience partnering closely with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to deliver effective, timely hiring solutions
  • Working knowledge of employment laws, compliance requirements, and inclusive hiring practices
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR systems
  • Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder‑management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at multiple levels
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, evolving environment, managing competing priorities with professionalism and discretion
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with a results‑driven mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize effectively across cross‑functional teams
  • Willingness and ability to support broader HR Generalist activities (e.g., onboarding, employee lifecycle processes, HR initiatives), providing flexibility as recruitment demand fluctuates

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field required
• Minimum of 4+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition /Recruiting and some experience supporting general HR required

ADDITIONAL JOB DETAILS:

Base starting salary ranges from $80k - $95k/year. The base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, this role includes:
