CarterWill Search is seeking a Corporate Transaction Lawyer to join an AmLaw firm’s Practice Services team in Houston. This role provides an opportunity to support corporate transactions through detailed due diligence and contract review while collaborating with a dynamic team of associates, counsel, and partners.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of relevant corporate experience, with strong proficiency in reviewing commercial contracts and legal documents. Responsibilities include preparing summaries of contract provisions, tracking legal analysis updates, and assisting the transactional team throughout the deal lifecycle.

This position offers exposure to a broad range of corporate transactions in a supportive environment, providing a platform for professional growth and development.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of corporate or transactional experience

  • JD or equivalent from an ABA-accredited law school

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Asana, and Kira

  • Ability to handle confidential information responsibly

  • Active admission in England and Wales (or eligibility)
