We’re looking for an experienced employment attorney to join our Legal team. In this role, you’ll advise on a broad range of labor and employment matters and partner closely with the business to navigate complex and evolving issues, including cross-border employment and the use of AI in the workplace. You’ll be part of a collaborative Legal team that delivers practical, solutions-oriented counsel to help the business advance its strategic priorities. This role offers an opportunity to build and refine scalable processes that will enhance our compliance efforts for our rapidly growing workforce.

You Will:

  • Provide strategic legal counsel across all stages of the employment lifecycle, from onboarding and active employment (including performance management, corrective action, leaves of absence, benefits and accommodations) through separation.

  • Advise on U.S. federal and state employment laws (including Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FLSA, and FMLA), as well as global employment law matters such as policy development, employee mobility, cross-border compliance, and immigration.

  • Conduct internal investigations related to allegations of employee misconduct and policy violations, such as harassment, discrimination, or retaliation.

  • Partner with the Litigation team to help respond to employment-related claims and develop dispute resolution strategies.

  • Review and update policies and agreement templates to ensure ongoing compliance and scalability.

  • Deliver training on relevant legal developments and the adoption of best practices.

  • Collaborate with the People team to ensure team initiatives are designed and implemented in compliance with applicable labor and employment laws.

  • Drive internal compliance reviews, including wage and hour and pay equity audits, and guide any resulting remediation efforts.

  • Leverage data and trends to proactively identify systemic risks and recommend mitigation strategies that support business priorities.

You Have:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar.

  • 8+ years of employment law experience, ideally combining law firm and in-house practice.

  • Strong command of U.S. federal and state employment laws; familiarity with international labor and employment laws a plus.

  • Experience advising on employment matters across multijurisdictional workforces, including hourly, distributed, and contingent or contract workers.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills; demonstrated ability to translate complex legal issues into clear, practical guidance for business partners.

  • Sound judgment and a hands-on approach to navigating novel issues.

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Our Benefits (there are more but here are some highlights):
  • Competitive salary & equity compensation for full-time roles

  • Unlimited PTO, company holidays, and quarterly mental health days

  • Comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental & vision, and parental leave

  • Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP)

  • 401k benefits with employer matching contribution

  • Offsite team retreats

We are committed to building a workforce that reflects diverse perspectives and prioritizes ethics, wellness, and a strong sense of belonging. If you're excited about this role, we encourage you to apply—even if you're not sure if your background or experience is a perfect match.
