About the role

We're hiring a Counsel, Gaming Compliance, and Licensing to help build the regulatory foundation and infrastructure that supports Radar's gaming and prediction markets business.

You'll lead licensing, customer diligence, and compliance efforts across our gaming operations, partnering closely with Product, Fraud Operations, and Technical Compliance to navigate evolving regulatory requirements and support strategic customers.

At Radar, Legal is a strategic partner to the business. We work closely with teams across the company to help Radar move quickly, manage risk, and unlock growth opportunities. In this role, you'll help ensure Radar remains a trusted partner to operators and regulators as we continue to expand in regulated markets.

You'll report to our General Counsel and be based out of our Flatiron (NYC) headquarters. We're in-office Monday through Thursday, with flexibility to work remotely on Fridays.

What you'll do

  • Own gaming licensing across jurisdictions, including renewals, filings, and ongoing regulatory obligations

  • Manage corporate, qualifier, and key employee licensing requirements

  • Lead customer diligence and suitability reviews across gaming and prediction markets

  • Assess regulatory risk and customer eligibility for new and existing business

  • Partner with Fraud Operations, Product, and Technical Compliance to support compliant customer deployments

  • Advise on new products, features, and workflows in evolving regulatory environments

  • Lead regulatory audits, examinations, and licensing inquiries

  • Manage relationships with regulators, outside counsel, and licensing partners

  • Build scalable compliance processes and controls that support Radar's growth

Who you are

  • 4–6 years of experience in gaming law, licensing, compliance, or regulatory affairs

  • Experience navigating regulated North American gaming markets

  • Strong understanding of gaming licensing and regulatory frameworks

  • Sound legal judgment and a pragmatic approach to risk

  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously

  • Comfortable operating with autonomy in a fast-paced environment

  • Collaborative and effective working across legal, product, operations, and compliance teams
