The Creative Design Lead will oversee visual content production, implement AI tools, direct agency efforts, ensure brand consistency, and develop marketing materials.
Location: Remote (U.S.-based)
Working Hours: EST
At Scaled Cognition, we are building the first deterministic intelligence layer for the enterprise. We are moving the world from "Hallucination Machines" to Actionable Intelligence. We need a Founding Creative who can visualize this revolution.
Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing, you will be the internal engine for all things visual—and the architect of how creative work flows through the company. You aren’t just an executor; you are a Creative Operator, Systems Builder, and Brand Enforcer. As our team grows, you will ensure Scaled Cognition remains visually precise, authoritative, and fast—without sacrificing quality or coherence.
What You’ll DoCreative Production & Motion- Action-First Animation: Create high-impact motion graphics and short-form video content that explains our core tech (deterministic models vs. stochastic ones).
- AI-Native Workflow: Continuously explore and implement modern AI creative tools (generative video, AI-assisted design) to scale our production and stay ahead of the curve.
- The Web Presence: Own the Webflow site. Work with our web agency to maintain our digital flagship, prototype landing pages, and optimize the UI/UX, etc.
- Event Production: Design and produce high-stakes event collateral, from large-scale booth environments and physical signage to digital presentation decks and interactive demos. You’ll ensure our brand’s "Deterministic" authority is physically felt at every conference, talk, and webinar we attend.
- From Tactical to Transformational: Be equally comfortable executing day-to-day creative needs and stepping back to design higher-order systems that reduce future friction.
- Agency Direction & Creative Orchestration: Lead end-to-end creative output across internal and external resources. You will lead and direct our design and web agencies (and future creative partners), setting clear briefs, quality bars, and brand standards while managing flow, feedback, and iteration. This is not a “do everything yourself” role—you’ll use agencies to scale execution while retaining creative control, velocity, and consistency across all motion, web, and visual deliverables.
- Creative Systems & Templates: Design and maintain a scalable system of templates and reusable components (decks, one-pagers, landing pages, social formats, sales assets) that empower Marketing, Sales, Product, and Partnerships to move faster without diluting the brand.
- Creative Intake & Prioritization: Own the internal creative intake process. You’ll help structure requests, clarify goals, and balance high-leverage brand work with ongoing tactical execution.
- Brand Governance: Serve as the internal “Brand Enforcer” as the company grows. You’ll define guardrails, document standards, and ensure consistency across teams, agencies, and partners.
- Competitive Pulse: Stay locked into the AI and CX landscape. You will actively monitor competitor movements and "visual language," ensuring Scaled Cognition remains differentiated and ahead of market trends.
- Product Intimacy: Develop a deep, "under-the-hood" understanding of our product suite. You need to understand how we win so you can translate those technical advantages into clear visual metaphors.
- Sales Weaponry: Partner with the Sales team to develop high-conversion tools—from interactive decks and technical one-pagers to bespoke demo assets—that help close the gap between a lead and a partner.
- Event & Social Narrative: Design our presence for industry events and podcasts. You’ll capture and amplify executive insights into "scroll-stopping" content that fuels our GTM engine.
- 3–6 Years of Experience: A background in fast-paced ai, deep-tech, fintech, or robotics is highly preferred.
- The "Swiss Army" Skillset: Expert-level Figma, Webflow, and Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects/Premiere).
- Technical Curiosity: You are genuinely enthusiastic about the AI space. You don’t just use the tools; you want to understand the logic behind the models.
- Strategic Partnership: You are comfortable working closely with the Director of Marketing and Sales leads. You take ownership of the brand while being a collaborative teammate.
- Action-Oriented Mentality: You are a self-starter who is comfortable juggling multiple workstreams—balancing hands-on creative execution, agency collaboration, systems building, and ongoing competitive research.
