The Creative Editor role focuses on producing high-converting video and static ads for performance-driven campaigns. Responsibilities include editing ads, creating variations for testing, leveraging AI tools, and collaborating with the growth team to improve ad effectiveness.
The summary above was generated by AI

We’re not looking for a traditional editor who spends days polishing a single video.

We’re looking for a performance-driven video editor who can move fast, test angles, and scale output - and who can also create high-converting static ads when needed.

This is a hybrid role where video is the core, but the ability to design static creatives adds leverage and speed to our creative pods.

If you’re the kind of creative professional who:

  • Thinks in hooks, CTAs, and conversion (not just visuals)
  • Can edit UGC-style videos, testimonials, and product demos fast
  • Can also put together clean, effective static ads for paid social
  • Uses AI tools (ChatGPT, Runway, CapCut AI, etc.) to increase output
  • Moves fast, iterates quickly, and doesn’t over-polish

Then you’re our person.

⚡ Why This Role Exists
  • Creative volume wins: Our clients need both video and static ads to test fast and scale what works
  • Hybrid creatives = leverage: Being able to execute both formats increases speed and output per pod
  • AI is changing workflows: We use AI to ideate, script, and produce faster than ever
  • We move fast: Weekly testing cycles require high-output creatives
  • We’re scaling: This is a key role to help us produce more winning creatives, faster
💼 What You’ll DoVideo (Primary Focus)
  • Edit short-form direct response video ads for Meta, TikTok, and other platforms
  • Cut UGC, testimonials, product demos, and founder-led content
  • Create multiple video variations (hooks, CTAs, angles) for testing
  • Use editing tools like CapCut, Premiere, etc (your choice)
  • Leverage AI tools (ChatGPT, Pika, Descript, Runway) to speed up workflows
  • Craft scripts and write copy for video concepts
Static Ads (Secondary but also very important)
  • Design high-converting static ad creatives for paid social
  • Use templates and systems (e.g., Butter, Creative OS) to move fast
  • Adapt competitor inspiration and swipe files into on-brand ads
  • Create multiple variations for testing (headlines, layouts, offers)
Collaboration & Execution
  • Work closely with strategists and growth team to execute concepts
  • Source and organize assets (UGC, stock, hooks, B-roll)
  • Iterate quickly based on performance and feedback
  • Deliver high-volume output without sacrificing effectiveness
✅ What You BringMust-Haves
  • 2+ years editing direct-response video ads for DTC brands
  • Strong portfolio of high-performing paid social video ads
  • Solid experience creating static ads for Meta
  • Proficiency in an editing tool like CapCut, Premiere, and/or After Effects
  • Working knowledge of Photoshop
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing (hooks, CTAs, angles)
  • Experience writing or adapting copy for ad creatives
  • Familiarity with AI tools (ChatGPT, Runway, Pika, etc.)
  • Ability to work fast and manage multiple projects
  • Strong English communication skills
Nice-to-Haves
  • Motion graphics skills
  • Experience with Creative OS, Foreplay, Butter or AdCreative.ai
  • Understanding of funnels, offers, and paid social strategy
🧠 Who You Are
  • Performance-driven. You care about conversions, not just aesthetics
  • Fast. You can produce several creatives per week consistently
  • Versatile. You can switch between video and static when needed
  • AI-curious. You use tools to increase speed and output
  • Resourceful. You can turn raw assets into winning creatives
  • Coachable. You iterate fast and improve with feedback
  • Reliable. You take ownership and hit deadlines
