Job Description

  • Manages Career Trade Instructors
  • Analyzes training procedure
  • Counsels’ groups and individuals relative to vocational objectives
  • Develops Corrective Action Plan
  • Ensures integration of vocational training with academics
  • Conducts regular shop visitations/observations
  • Writes and Develops SOPs and Center Training Plan
  • Attends Scheduled Meets with the Center Industry Councils
  • Actively participates as member of Youth Council
  • Maintains required Statistical Performance
  • Reviews Center reports, reconciles as appropriate, and develops Corrective Action Plan
  • Meets bi-monthly with vocational staff and ensures minutes from each meeting are accurate
  • Meets jointly with academic and vocations to plan Applied Academics
  • Review’s attendance sheets for accuracy of documentation
  • Notes any trends or patterns and establishes appropriate plan(s) of action/discipline
  • Ensures all custodians/locations complete 3 quarterly inventories per Property Handbook. Inventories completed as circumstances dictate, i.e. When custodian changes, etc.
  • Ensures any theft or other losses are reported within 3 business days.
  • Other duties as assigned

Education:

Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university required.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Teaching License Preferred in the State in which the Center is located. Valid State driver’s license
