THE ROLE 

Avocado is currently looking for a  Customer Experience Associate I to be part of our Customer Experience team in Fullerton, CA

This is a non-exempt position, meaning it is hourly and you are entitled to overtime pay.

  • Note on Location: You will be working on-site at our location in Fullerton, California. This is not a remote position.
  • Note on Pay Transparency:  The pay range for this role is  $19.00 - $22.38 Hourly, plus potential monthly bonus.

WHAT YOU’LL BE WORKING ON

  • Respond to customer inquiries via calls, chats, and emails.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of customer issues and interactions.
  • Route concerns to the appropriate departments.
  • Handle order inquiries and report vendor-related issues in line with company standards.
  • Meet department averages for performance metrics, including PRP, QA, CSAT, and time logged in queues.
  • All other assigned duties.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in the field of customer service is necessary for this position.
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to accept and adjust accordingly to constructive feedback.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills. Great communicator.
  • Regular and predictable attendance.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Stationary position: Must be able to remain stationary 50% of the time.
  • Move: This role involves moving throughout the office space to meet with different team members.
  • Operate: Constantly operates a computer and other office machines such as printers and tablets.
  • Communicate: This role frequently communicates with other team members to update on the status of a task and customers to help with any inconvenience on orders.
