Job Description:

Broadcom’s Data Center Solutions Group (DCSG), a leader in Ethernet Connectivity, server, storage and PCI Express switch solutions, is seeking a Manager, Segment Marketing/Business Development to lead a team of Segment Marketing Managers for its fast growing Storage and Ethernet NIC business product lines. Responsibilities will include developing business strategies and leading a high performing team of Marketing to grow DCSG’s business in Taiwan. Responsible for cradle to grave engagements with customers and manage relations with customers. 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Own design win planning, development of marketing collateral while working closely with sales to address customer issues/needs.
  • Lead cross functional teams with sales, product marketing, and application to deliver business proposals as well as technical collateral needed for customer support or go to market plans.
  • Must be comfortable presenting product plans and value to customers at all levels.
  • Own customer interaction, pricing, design win and RFQ activities.
  • Engage with Product Marketing, Sales, Support, and Product Management teams to drive customer focused marketing programs and technical content through the most effective communication methods available.
  • Translate corporate marketing and sales strategies into customer-specific plans, as well as identifying and communicating customer needs
  • Use data analysis and summarize information to positively influence decision makers to achieve business objectives and ensure a fully aligned customer/company business plan
  • Organize, track and report on  program and product status for individual accounts 
  • Provide inbound marketing support for OEM product and planning data, organizational structures and process requirements.

Education and Experience:

  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and minimum of 12 years of overall experience

  • Experience of managing APAC business in Data Center / Server / Storage / Networking industry is desired

  • The candidate should have experience in Ethernet NIC, server and storage marketing. 

  • A deep understanding of technologies such as Ethernet NICs, PCIe, SAS, SATA is highly desired.

  • Knowledge of storage, networking and servers within the data center and cloud markets and equipment is highly desired.

  • Candidates must be well balanced with technical and business skills.

  • Strong sense of ownership and team building in Broadcom’s cross functional environment are keys to success in this position.

  • Ability to speak mandarin is a plus

  • Experience in working with Taiwan Customers is a plus

  • Quarterly travel to Asia is required

Additional Job Description:

Compensation and Benefits

The annual base salary range for this position is $137,500 - $220,000. 

 

This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
