Supplier.io is the data foundation that enterprises build their supplier decisions on. Fragmented, duplicated, and unreliable supplier data quietly limits the ROI of source-to-pay platforms, analytics, risk, and AI initiatives, so we resolve, enrich, and continuously maintain the industry's most complete supplier identity, then put it to work for the teams that buy and the suppliers themselves. Relied on by companies across the Fortune 2000 for accurate data, our platform helps corporate procurement, finance, and compliance teams manage their vendor master, source diverse and sustainable suppliers, and mitigate risk, all from one verified identity instead of a dozen disconnected systems.

Our solutions turn that foundation into action: accurate data and continuous maintenance for teams managing a fragmented vendor master, sourcing intelligence built resolving even the hardest-to-identify suppliers, small, local, and diverse businesses, for teams tracking sustainability and compliance, and direct visibility for the suppliers themselves into where they stand with the enterprises that buy from them. Whether you're resolving vendor records, sourcing alternatives, or measuring program results, Supplier.io transforms complexity into clarity, so teams can lead with confidence and build supply chains that deliver for both business and community.

The Opportunity

Supplier.io is shipping quickly, and our platform capability is growing faster than any one customer can keep pace with. Our installed base is our single largest growth opportunity: enterprises that already trust us with their supplier data, with more value available to them than they are putting to work today. This role exists to connect the two.

The Customer Marketing Manager will bring new capabilities to existing customers and turn that into usage, expansion conversations, and renewals. You will have a standing seat in the release process, working from the positioning and messaging set by the Director of Product Marketing and translating it into customer-facing programs that land in market. You will partner closely with the internal content, web, and email teams to get those programs built and shipped, without owning those channels yourself.

This is an execution-heavy role with a commercial edge. Success is measured in adoption and retention, not campaign volume.

What you will do

Product adoption and release enablement

  1. Represent customer marketing in the release process: join product and product marketing planning early enough to shape how each launch lands with existing customers.
  1. Translate the positioning and core messaging set by the Director of Product Marketing into customer-facing release communications, adapting tone, depth, and proof points for each segment and persona.
  1. Own the practical, in-the-weeds messaging layer in partnership with product release notes, announcement copy, in-app prompts, and enablement one-pagers that make a new capability concrete.
  1. Segment the installed base by product usage, entitlement, and persona, so every release reaches the customers it actually matters to.
  1. Build the recurring "what's new and why it matters for you" narrative that keeps customers current on the capabilities available to them.

Upsell, renewal, and retention

  1. Originate expansion and cross-sell plays: use product usage, entitlement gaps, and account signals to identify where the next conversation is, then bring the idea forward with the segment and the message attached.
  1. Partner with the demand generation team to turn those plays into campaigns. You bring the customer insight, targeting, and messaging; demand builds and runs the campaign and carries the upsell pipeline number.
  1. Work with Customer Success and Sales to pressure-test which plays are real before they become campaigns.
  1. Support renewal motions with value-realization assets: usage recaps, program results, and ROI framing that customers can take to their own stakeholders.
  1. Surface adoption gaps and low-usage accounts back to Customer Success, Product, and Product Marketing, so they can be addressed before renewal.
  1. Develop customer-facing collateral that supports adoption and expansion conversations in the field.

Campaigns and cross-functional execution

  1. Drive customer email campaigns from strategy through results: define the audience and segmentation, write the copy, brief the email team who builds and deploys, then analyze performance and iterate.
  1. Hold the installed-base communication calendar, so release communications, lifecycle campaigns, and demand-led expansion sends are sequenced rather than stacked on the same customers.
  1. Drive the customer newsletter and product update cadence.
  1. Brief and partner with the internal content, web, design, and email teams on adoption assets. You define the requirement and drive it to done; those teams own the build and their channels.

What you will need to succeed

  • 5+ years in customer marketing, lifecycle marketing, or a closely related role
  • B2B SaaS experience required
  • Ability to write clear, customer-facing copy without heavy editing
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Experience working lean: you build as much as you execute
  • Familiarity with AI tools, marketing automation, and email platforms
  • Supplier diversity experience is preferred
