Build the data infrastructure for robots operating in the real world.

Robotics is moving from research labs into production across factories, warehouses, vehicles, and field deployments. When robots fail, behave unexpectedly, or need to be improved, engineers rely on data to understand what actually happened.

At Foxglove, we build the observability, visualization, and data infrastructure that makes that possible. Our tools are used by robotics and autonomous systems teams to ingest, store, query, replay, and analyze massive volumes of multimodal sensor data from live systems and from production fleets.

About the role

Foxglove is used by some of the biggest names in the robotics industry, across verticals such as warehouse automation, autonomous driving, agriculture, and deep sea exploration. Our customer base is growing fast, and we’re looking for a Customer Success Engineer to help us expand our ability to support our customers in achieving their target outcomes throughout these different industry verticals.

You will play a critical role in ensuring our customers are successfully leveraging the Foxglove platform to meet their development and commercialization goals by providing world-class technical support, working closely with Foxglove’s product and engineering teams to ensure a seamless customer experience, and growing to become a go-to reference point internally and externally for all things technical.

Our ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience in the robotics or autonomous vehicles industry, using Foxglove or similar tools. A strong understanding of typical robotics development workflows is important, and a basic understanding of cloud infrastructure and architecture is also helpful. On a typical day, you may engage with everyone from a VP Engineering at a fortune 500 company, to students or individual developers at a small startup. You should thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, and enjoy solving problems and designing processes as you go.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to prospects and customers using the Foxglove platform.

  • Act as a liaison between customers and our product and engineering teams to advocate for user needs and platform improvements.

  • Develop and maintain documentation, tutorials, and best practices that make adapting the Foxglove platform to specific use cases a breeze.

  • Assist in onboarding new customers, providing personalized training, and ensuring successful adoption of the platform.

  • Contribute to building out a technical pre- and post-sales team.

What we're looking for
  • 2+ years experience in technical support roles

  • 1+ years using Foxglove or a related visualization tool

  • Ability to comfortably query SQL databases

  • Comfortable writing scripts in Python and Typescript

  • Ability to communicate effectively with everyone from IC engineers to C level executives

  • Experience building out processes and writing documentation internally and externally

  • Sound understanding of common robotics development workflows

  • Ability to quickly grasp new technical concepts easily

  • Bonus Points: Experience in the autonomous driving or robotics sector; Prior software engineering experience; Previous experience leading Customer Engineering or other customer-facing functions

What we offer
  • $300 monthly budget towards commuter benefits or building your personal workspace (remote only)

  • Competitive equity grant in a Series B company

  • Medical, Dental, Vision, and Term Life insurance coverage at 100% for employees and 75% for dependents

  • 401(k) matching up to 4%

  • 4 weeks vacation, plus holidays and winter break

  • All expenses paid company off-sites 1-2× per year

Why Join Us
  • Impact: Own growth at a fast-growing, high-leverage moment for the company.

  • Mission: Accelerate the development of the next generation of robotics and embodied AI.

  • Team: Work with world-class engineers, designers, and researchers passionate about open-source and developer tools.

  • Ownership: Drive initiatives end-to-end, with high autonomy and visibility.
