Serve as technical liaison between product, business, and development teams to define specifications, support application releases, manage change/defects, document integrations, and ensure performance, security, and cross‑functional alignment across Cloud, Infrastructure, and Security domains.

Position description:
The Technical Analyst will work directly with the Tech Developers and Business Team to implement and support technical solutions to meet organizational objectives. The Tech Analyst will assist the Product Team with prioritizing user requirements, overseeing system changes and researching new tools in alignment with industry trends. The position will develop, analyze and amend technical specifications for delivery to the development team. The Analyst will address and (working with the developers) solution any relevant problems or roadblocks and ensure high levels of performance and security. The position will report directly to the Technical Manager.
The candidate will need to be able to make progress in a fast-paced environment with little oversight.
General:
Strong verbal/written communication & facilitation skills. Must be able to help business counterparts in finding optimal solutions and to communicate clearly with peers.
Coordinate and assist the Development Team with application support (quarterly releases, defects, change management).
Work across cross-functional domains including Cloud, Infrastructure, and Security to ensure proper engagement of the development team when architecting, building, and supporting application architecture and integration.
Document the integration of multiple systems (new and legacy) while reconciling the needs of other cross-functional teams or product portfolios.
Communicate with stakeholders as needed to understand their functional requirements.
Define, develop, and review technical specifications.
Keep abreast of technology trends and developments.
Required skills:
BS/BA in Comp Sci, Engineering or a related field and 7+ years of related work experience.
Proven experience as an IT Systems, Product, or Business Analyst (or similar role).
Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to work on cross-functional teams.
Experience working in a solution delivery environment.
Excellent communication skills including the ability to explain technical details.
Excellent analytical skills with strong problem-solving aptitude.
Preferred Skills:
Prior Electric Utilities industry experience.
Prior experience with large complex enterprise systems.
Familiarity with programming languages like C#, Java, VB.
Knowledge of databases, system security and troubleshooting.
Experience in multiple project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, SAFe, etc.).
