What will you do in this role?

  • Work as part of implementation teams ranging from 4-6 members on Dynamics ERP Projects as a technical lead, possibly managing other technical resources, or as a senior technical team member
  • Responsibility for all technical tasks required of implementation, supporting the Project Manager and functional team, and managing delegation of tasks to other tech team members as necessary, including system deployment & maintenance; data migration; modification design and development; code reviews, builds and deployments; integration design and development; user training
  • Provide input into the design of functional requirement documents, offering architectural advice, technical design and development estimates as needed
  • Mentor junior developers on the project, providing guidance, code reviews, and other assistance as necessary
  • Demonstrate excellent documentation skills in the development of design specifications & end-user documents
  • Train customer technical resources on various aspects of F&O system, including data migration, development, integration and system maintenance
  • Promotion and advancement opportunities to Manager for the right candidate.

 

Requirements:  

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 4+ years’ experience developing with X++
  • 2+ years’ experience working with D365 Finance & Operations
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Life Cycle Services
  • Experience with Azure platform for integration
  • Knowledge of Power Platform (Power Automate, PowerApps, Power BI)
  • Excellent client relation skills, organization, & prioritization capabilities
  • Experience using & developing for SSRS & SSMS
  • Prior experience working at a Consultancy
  • 25-50% travel nationally to customer locations for on-site work depending on implementation phase
  • US Citizen or Green Card Holder

 

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Microsoft certifications in SQL, Dynamics AX/365, & Visual Studio a plus
  • Upgrade experience from Ax 2009 & 2012 to D365 a plus
  • D365 F&O/AX Trade & Logistics, Production or Finance certification
  • D365 F&O Apps Development certification
  • Has effectively managed a small team of developers & can communicate efficiently with all levels of the organization

 

In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the base compensation range for this role is $81,980.50 - $127,152.38 - $172,324.25. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on several factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. Compensation ranges for roles in our Government Services pillar are determined by contract with the specific government agency Sikich is servicing.
