JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II. JT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges.
JOB SUMMARY - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES
Under direction of senior Analyst or Supervisor, a Data Analyst II will support the post-test processing operations for flight testing operations. This includes managing/coordinating data requests, automating & optimizing the data ingestion processes, IADS screen building, ensuring data/media control, and work closely with Discipline Engineers to ensure mission support needs are met.
Employee will be responsible for performing the following functions/duties:
- Manage and validate test data, pre-flight data, data products, and ingest data using scripted actions from a variety of sources.
- Ensure all data products are logged into and out of the data management system and provide periodic inventories of all stored media.
- Work with programmers, data production analysts, and discipline engineers to ensure the timely success of data operations.
- Participate in process and tool automation and optimization of data ingestion.
- Assist with the development of processing specifications, procedures, and provide requested reports/metrics as required.
- Understand and adhere to all local security requirements regarding handling, transferring, shipping, and disposing of data and media products.
- Perform other job-related duties, as required.
- Typical Work Schedule: Monday -- Friday, 1:30 p.m. -- 10:00 p.m. (2nd shift)
- Candidate must be able to obtain a CompTIA Security + Certification within 6 months of hire.
- Must have at minimum an active DoD Secret level clearance (eligible for TS).
REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, TECHNICAL, AND WORK EXPERIENCE
A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, physics, or mathematics, or equivalent formal training, or experience in a related field and three (3) years of related analytical experience are required for this position.
In addition, a Data Analyst II must possess the following qualifications:
- Demonstrated skill, knowledge, and technical competency in the use of scientific and mathematical theories and principles applicable to operations research
- Ability to employ professional methods of scientific inquiries and analyses in the solution of difficult research and/or systems analysis problems
- Demonstrated ability to prepare thorough and comprehensive reports or analytical studies
- Good planning/organizational skills
- Ability to work under deadlines
- Must possess a valid, state issued driver's license.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
SALARY
The expected salary range for this position is $79,000 to $105,000 annually.

JT4, LLC considers factors such as (but not limited to) responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offer.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is performed in a typical office environment with no unusual hazards. Occasional lifting (up to 30 pounds), constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, and constant mental alertness are required.
Travel to remote company work locations may be required.
