The Opportunity
As a Data & Analytics Technology Consulting - Intern, you will engage in projects that focus on learning and gaining exposure to PwC's practices, while supporting teams with basic tasks and conducting research. Within our Advisory practice, you will have the chance to work alongside experienced professionals who guide clients towards sustainable growth and competitive advantage in today's dynamic market. This role offers a unique opportunity to observe and participate in the development of data-driven solutions, leveraging data science, analytics, and artificial intelligence to drive innovation and gain a competitive edge.
As an Intern, you will support teams by participating in projects, focusing on learning and gaining exposure to PwC practices. You will perform basic tasks and conduct research while observing professional work environments. In this role at PwC, you will be encouraged to ask questions, take initiative, and produce quality work that adds value for our clients and contributes to our team's success. This is an entry-level position where you will start to establish your personal brand, paving the way to more opportunities within the firm.
Responsibilities
- Supporting teams in data analysis and research to gain insights and contribute to project goals
- Participating in the development and implementation of data-driven solutions using tools like Power BI and Tableau
- Assisting in the creation of data visualizations to communicate complex data insights effectively
- Engaging in algorithm development and machine learning tasks to enhance data processing capabilities
- Conducting research and gathering information to support data validation and security measures
- Utilizing Microsoft SQL Server Data Tools and Python for data manipulation and analysis
- Collaborating with team members to apply predictive analytics and generate actionable insights
- Observing and learning from experienced professionals to understand data analytics methodologies and practices
- Applying a learning mindset to develop skills in data analytics and artificial intelligence technologies
What You Must Have
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree
- Client service intern positions are entry-level and job seekers are traditionally either in their 3rd year of a 4 year degree program or in the 4th year of a 5 year program. Client service interns typically join us during the winter/spring or summer prior to their intended graduation year

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Business Analytics, Computer Information System, Computer Programming, Data Processing/Analytics/Science, Industrial & System Engineering, Industrial and Operations Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Informatics, Information Science, Information System, Information Technology, Management Information Systems
- Preferred cumulative GPA: 3.3
- Preferred major GPA: 3.3
- Leveraging AI to create efficiencies, innovate ways of working and deliver distinctive outcomes
- Developing skills in algorithm development and machine learning
- Utilizing tools like Alteryx, Power BI, and Tableau for data visualization
- Conducting analytic research to drive data-driven insights
- Applying Python programming for predictive analytics and data processing
The salary range for this position is: $29.25 - $48.00. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
