- Work with a variety of key life sciences data sources to model commercial, sales, marketing, and CRM datasets
- Define, maintain, and enforce modeling standards, best practices, and architectural patterns
What we're looking for
- Strong experience in data architecture and data modeling, particularly dimensional and semantic modeling
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Redshift or a similar cloud data warehouse platform
- Proficiency in building semantic models in Power BI
- Strong SQL skills for model development, validation, optimization, and data quality checks
- Solid understanding of data governance, metadata, and lineage
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical partners
- Experience with ERWin or similar data modeling tools
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA, Oracle EPM, and Coupa data structures
- Exposure to SAP Datasphere, Informatica, or other ETL/ELT platforms
- Experience working within global or matrixed enterprise environments
Our consultants say CompassX is a place where they can truly find their own path. As part of a smaller firm, they see the impact of their work, have an identity, and know their voice matters. They value the freedom to take the reins of their careers, shape their client work, and maintain a direct line to leadership.
With CompassX’s focus on serving local Southern California clients, consultants not only build lasting relationships but also see the results of their work in the communities where they live.
