About the Role
We are seeking a Data Engineer to help build and optimize Holiday World’s data infrastructure. You will
create pipelines, manage data flows, and ensure clean, reliable datasets for analytics and AI systems.
What You’ll Do
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines
• Work with structured & unstructured datasets
• Create data ingestion and transformation workflows
• Integrate APIs and external data sources
• Improve data quality, validation, and monitoring
• Support dashboards, reporting, and ML/AI pipelines
• Optimize warehouse, pipeline, and cloud performance
• Contribute to data governance & documentation
What You’ll Bring
• Strong Python & SQL
• Familiarity with BigQuery, Snowflake, PostgreSQL
• Experience with ETL/ELT frameworks or custom pipelines
• Understanding of APIs & cloud environments (GCP preferred)
• Ability to optimize data workflows
• Strong debugging & documentation skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup
What Helps You Stand Out
• Experience with Airflow / Prefect / dbt
• Knowledge of Kafka or real-time pipelines
• ML pipeline or feature store exposure
• Understanding of data governance & security
• Docker or CI/CD workflow familiarity
