About the Role

We're looking for a skilled Analytics/Data Engineer to maintain and expand our critical BI project. You'll collaborate with our data, engineering, and clinical teams to build robust, scalable, and high-quality data workflows that power our platform and insights.

What You'll Do

  • Maintain and optimize an ETL project (Python, DBT, cloud-based data workflows).
  • Develop new data models, transformations, and analytics features.
  • Work with data scientists, analysts, and product managers to deliver reliable data.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security.
  • Troubleshoot data ingestion, transformation, and delivery issues.
  • Contribute to documentation and best practices.
  • Stay current with industry trends in data engineering and healthcare tech.

What You'll Bring

  • 3+ years in data engineering or similar roles.
  • Strong Python and SQL skills.
  • Experience with dbt for data modeling.
  • Experience with BigQuery and ETL/ELT
  • Experience with Dagster or Airflow.    
  • Experience with Git and collaborative development.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Bonus Points For

  • Experience with data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau).
  • Familiarity with Docker.
  • Knowledge of data privacy and security.
  • Experience with healthcare data standards (FHIR, HL7).
  • Healthcare experience (HIPAA, GDPR).
