About the company

About the role

We're looking for a highly resourceful and hands-on data person to own our data infrastructure and data pipeline. This person will have deep technical expertise in data engineering and the agency to tackle challenges across the entire data stack. If you thrive on solving problems, learning new technologies, and getting things done without waiting for permission, this role is for you.

What you'll do
  • Build and maintain robust data pipelines that power our analytics and business operations

  • Own our Snowflake and dbt infrastructure - manage data warehouse architecture, optimize performance, and maintain clean, well-documented models

  • Set up and troubleshoot data connectors across various sources and systems

  • Deliver quick analytics and dashboards to answer business questions

  • Unblock yourself and others through collaboration, communication, or getting hands dirty with code

  • Experiment with new tools and technologies, even if you haven't used them before

What we're looking for
  • Strong proof that you can do data engineering very well - we care about what you've built, not just years of experience

  • Deep understanding of Snowflake, dbt management and various data connectors

  • Not afraid to tackle data connector setup, quick analytics, dashboards, and other tasks across the data stack

  • Extremely high agency—you identify problems, propose solutions, and execute without waiting to be told what to do

  • Able to unblock yourself through communication and collaboration with others or by getting hands dirty

  • Not afraid to try new things, even if it's something you've never done before

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and figuring things out as you go

Benefits include
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance

  • Daily lunch, snacks, and beverages

  • Flexible time off

  • Competitive salary and equity

  • AI Stipend

Equal opportunity

Braintrust is an equal opportunity employer. All applicants will be considered for employment without attention to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran or disability status.
