Job Summary:
The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for accurately entering, updating, organizing, and maintaining company information in databases, spreadsheets, and other computer systems. This role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, confidentiality, and the ability to manage repetitive tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter and update customer, financial, or business information into databases and spreadsheets.
  • Review data for accuracy and correct errors or missing information.
  • Organize and maintain electronic and physical records.
  • Verify information from source documents before entering it into company systems.
  • Perform data searches and retrieve information when requested.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company and customer information.
  • Prepare basic reports and spreadsheets.
  • Communicate with other departments to resolve data discrepancies.
  • Complete assigned data-entry tasks within established deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong typing and computer skills.
