Job Description 

As a Data Labeling Specialist, you will support the creation of object detection AI through our data labeling efforts. You will work as part of a collaborative team to label images at a pace that meets our client deliverable deadlines and quality requirements. 

Responsibilities 

  • Identify, analyze, and label objects in overhead imagery. 
  • Proactively communicate with project leadership, provide updates, and raise issues about labeling and data workflows.
  • Cultivate expertise and leadership in the imagery analysis domain and gain basic machine learning knowledge to better understand how labels are utilized by our algorithms. 

Qualifications  

  • Undergraduate degree in International Affairs, Political Science, Public Policy, Data Engineering and/or Data Science, is required. If you have a unique background that adds value, please apply! 
  • Prior experience with imagery analysis and labeling in QGIS or python is preferred, but not required.
  • The perfect candidate for this role is someone who is adaptable, dependable, and can apply logic to multiple different scenarios. We’re seeking candidates with proven analytical skills, are excited to solve complex problems, and are passionate and curious about AI technology applications.
  • This position is an in-person role, candidates must be able to reliably commute to and from our office in Stanford Research Park, Palo Alto. 
  • Quality focused, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. You must be able to learn quickly and have a baseline of strong computer skills.

Salary Range

  • The estimated base salary range for this position is $80,000 to $100,000/year
