ServiceTitan is looking for a Data Quality Analyst to join our Data Engineering department. Strong candidates will have basic knowledge of the SQL server, TSQL, and ETL operations in addition to strong analytical and critical thinking skills. This is a customer-facing role.  You will be guiding customers as a technical expert, and while you will be expected to technically proficient, this is not an engineering role. The most critical portion of the role is working with the customer to deconstruct and re-interpret their data so they can migrate to ServiceTitan successfully. The candidate will work closely with cross-departmental resources to ensure on-time delivery of transferred data for customers adoption of ServiceTitan.The Data Quality Analyst will receive projects and deadlines from the Data Engineering or Implementation Departments. The ability to own tasks, clearly communicate requirements, delays, completion and prioritize a constantly shifting schedule of deadlines is paramount. The candidate will work directly with a customer when evaluating new software to review the data in its source software, present cleanups to the larger data team,  and work cross functionally between client, data engineer, and Onboarder. This work is highly critical to our implementation process and in reducing overall data migration time. It is the lynchpin of the sales and onboarding process. Data concerns are a blocker for most of our customers, so delivering high-quality, highly accurate transfers is absolutely crucial and greatly appreciated by both our customers and our company.

What you'll do:

● 60% of your time will be spent working with customers, 40% doing technical work.
● Work directly with customers to ensure their data migration is a success.
● Manage a wide variety of tasks with shifting priorities and tight deadlines
● Clearly communicate project status and updates with internal and external stakeholders in a timely manner for successful delivery.
● Find and employ methods for transferring sources of data we have not previously encountered
● Evaluate and understand database structures and interpret them into ServiceTitan data model
● Write queries to correct, reformat or move data

What you'll bring:

● Be proficient in Excel
● Basic knowledge and experience in T-SQL
● Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
● Able to identify relationships within databases and infer the developers intent based on structure and values
● Ability to work effectively within a team environment with tight deadlines and high expectations

ServiceTitan is committed to fair and equitable compensation for all of our employees. We thoughtfully consider a wide range of factors when determining individual compensation.The expected salary range for this role for candidates residing in the United States is between $65,800 USD - $88,100 USD. Compensation for candidates residing outside the United States will vary by location and the specific salary range will be discussed during the hiring process. Actual compensation for an individual may vary depending on skills, performance over time, qualifications, experience, and location. In addition to the base salary, the total compensation package also includes an annual bonus, equity and a holistic suite of benefits.
