What the Role Entails

As a Data Scientist at Tencent Games, you will be responsible for:

  • Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide data-driven insights and solutions for business problems in the gaming industry, including various analysis and modeling scenarios in the stage of CRM.
  • Developing computational workflows based on Python, SQL, and big data tools to handle and analyze large complex datasets; Utilizing BI tools like Preset/Tableau to develop data reports and support data insights and business analysis.
  • Modeling and developing scalable, efficient, automated data analysis, AB testing, machine learning, validation, and service frameworks.
  • Collaborating with product managers and data engineers to design and implement end-to-end data solutions for issues in game development, publishing, and operation.

Who We Look For

To be considered for this position, you should have:

  • A master's degree or above in computer science, machine learning, or math/statistics.
  • A passion for applying mathematical models and computer science technology to CRM, along with profound insights into the gaming industry.
  • Expertise in mathematical modeling, statistical analysis, and machine learning, including statistics, machine learning, AB testing, etc.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, or related languages.
