The Opportunity
As a Data Scientist Senior Manager - Consumer Markets, you will leverage data and analytics to provide strategic insights and drive informed decision-making for clients. Within our Internal Firm Services practice, you will focus on developing and implementing innovative solutions to optimize business performance and enhance competitive advantage. As a Senior Manager, you will apply your skills and influence to deliver quality results, motivating and coaching teams to solve complex problems. You will exercise sound judgment, recognizing when to take action and when to escalate, while fostering diverse and inclusive teams that contribute to the success of our firm.
In this role at PwC, you will craft and convey clear, impactful messages that tell a holistic story, applying systems thinking to identify underlying problems and opportunities. You will validate outcomes with clients, share alternative perspectives, and act on feedback, demonstrating composure through ambiguous and challenging situations. Your commitment to excellence and ability to initiate open and honest coaching conversations at all levels will be key to resolving issues hindering team effectiveness and modeling professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Leading strategic initiatives to leverage data and analytics for informed decision-making
- Developing innovative solutions to optimize business performance and enhance competitive advantage
- Utilizing advanced analytics techniques to drive insights and support clients in achieving their strategic goals
- Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders to identify and address data challenges
- Implementing business intelligence tools and cloud-based analytics platforms to enhance insights generation
- Directing teams through complex data analysis and interpretation to solve challenging problems
- Crafting and conveying clear, impactful messages that tell a holistic story
- Applying systems thinking to identify underlying problems and opportunities
- Validating outcomes with clients and acting on feedback to improve processes
- Promoting continuous process improvement and embracing change within teams
- Coaching and motivating teams to develop high-performing, diverse, and inclusive environments
- Initiating open and honest coaching conversations at all levels to foster growth and development
What You Must Have
- At least a High School Diploma or the equivalent degree
- At least 6 years of experience

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Analytics/Data Science, Biology/Biomedical Sciences, Business Administration/Management, Computer Science/Information Systems, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Financial Mathematics/Quantitative Finance, Health Administration/Public Health, Mathematics/Statistics, Operations/Supply Chain, Project/Technology Management, Risk Management/Insurance, Science
- Leveraging advanced skills in data visualization tools like QlikView and Spotfire
- Demonstrating proficiency in business intelligence development and reporting tools
- Applying analytical thinking to drive continuous process improvement
- Utilizing data architecture development to enhance data quality and pipeline efficiency
- Excelling in stakeholder engagement and strategic questioning for impactful decision-making
- Innovating through rapid experimentation and embracing change in dynamic environments
The salary range for this position is: $91,000 - $321,500. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
