About the team

OpenAI’s mission is to build safe artificial general intelligence (AGI) which benefits all of humanity. This long-term undertaking brings the world’s best scientists, engineers, and business professionals into one lab together to accomplish this.

In pursuit of this mission, our GTM Systems team is responsible for equipping and enabling the Go To Market (GTM) as they seek to help customers learn how to leverage and deploy our highly capable AI products across their business. The GTM team is made of Sales, Technical Success, and Support that work together to create valuable solutions that will help bring AI to as many users as possible.

About the role

Our GTM team has a unique mission to help customers understand the deep impact that highly capable AI models can bring to their business and users. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced CRM Data Quality Lead to establish an evolving practice intended to safeguard the accuracy and reliability of critical data in Salesforce.

The Data Systems Analyst is a key contributor within OpenAI’s GTM Systems organization, responsible for translating the Data Systems Manager’s strategy into well-defined requirements, clear solution designs, and reliable data workflows across Salesforce. In this role, you will execute against an established data and enrichment roadmap - ensuring that scoped work is accurately delivered, operationally sound, and aligned with the data standards and priorities set by the Data Systems Manage

In this role, you'll:

  • Own the daily operational backbone of the Data Systems practice—executing and maintaining CRM, enrichment, routing, and field-level changes across Salesforce, Clay, and Hightouch to ensure predictable, stable data flows.

  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve enrichment jobs, declarative automation (Flows, validation rules, routing logic), and data pipelines that power segmentation, qualification, routing, and downstream GTM systems.

  • Deliver reliable, high-quality configuration updates by scoping requests accurately, executing changes safely, validating outcomes, and communicating progress and risks to GTM Systems, Field Ops, Revenue Strategy, and Business Data partners.

  • Manage daily and weekly operational queues, including enrichment hygiene, data corrections, and configuration adjustments—ensuring predictable, on-time delivery aligned to priorities set by the Data Systems Manager.

  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams to diagnose data drift, enrichment failures, routing anomalies, and workflow breakpoints—providing clear analysis, proposed fixes, and timely follow-through.

  • Uphold and apply data and configuration standards set by the Data Systems Manager—ensuring every change you make protects data quality, avoids regressions, and reinforces durable operational integrity.

  • Document data behaviors, enrichment patterns, routing logic, and configuration changes to strengthen team knowledge, improve auditability, and support GTM Systems’ scaling efforts

You might thrive in this role if you have:

  • Deep, hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and declarative automation (Flows, validation rules, routing logic), with a strong foundation in data accuracy and operational data management.

  • Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-volume environment—executing configuration changes, troubleshooting issues, and managing daily technical tasks with precision and urgency.

  • Comfortable running and monitoring enrichment jobs, data loads, and CRM workflows end-to-end, diagnosing failures quickly, and delivering reliable fixes without requiring strategic guidance.

  • Experience partnering with GTM, Ops, and cross-functional teams to resolve data or workflow issues in real time—communicating clearly, escalating appropriately, and keeping work unblocked.
