Build and lead Netic’s Deal Desk from scratch by creating approval matrices, pricing playbooks, and deal review processes. Structure complex deals, model economics, analyze discounting and win rates, and recommend pricing or packaging changes. Partner with Finance, Legal, Product, and Sales Operations on contract terms, revenue recognition, quoting standards, and approval automation. Coach account executives and establish scalable processes for large, multi-location customers.
The summary above was generated by AI

Netic is the AI revenue engine for essential services who are the backbone of the American economy. With $43M in funding from Founders Fund, Greylock, Hanabi, and Dylan Field who led our Series B, we helped our customers book hundreds of thousands of jobs across services industries in North America. There are now companies operating entirely AI-first on Netic.

You’ll join our team with relentless builders from Scale, Databricks, HRT, Meta, MIT, Stanford, and Harvard in bringing frontier AI to the physical economy, where the problems are hard, the data is complex, and the impact is immediate and tangible.

The role

You'll be Netic's first Deal Desk hire. There's no approval matrix, pricing playbook or deal review process yet: you'll design all three. You'll work directly with sales leadership, Finance and our founders, and the guardrails you set will shape how every Netic deal is priced and approved.

This is a commercial analyst role. You'll model deal economics, find patterns in how we discount and win, and turn them into pricing policy that lets us say yes fast to good deals and push back on bad ones.

What you'll do
  • Build the Deal Desk from zero: the approval matrix (who approves what, at which threshold), the deal review process and the turnaround times reps can count on.

  • Review and structure non-standard deals: discounts, ramps, pilots, multi-year terms, payment terms and usage-based or per-location pricing.

  • Model deal economics at the deal and portfolio level: discount, gross margin, payback and expected expansion.

  • Analyze discounting, win rates and deal velocity by segment, deal size and rep, and recommend changes to list price, packaging and promotions with Product and leadership.

  • Partner with Finance and Legal on contract terms and revenue recognition, so what sales sells is what Finance can book.

  • Set quote and CPQ standards with Sales Ops and our Sales Systems engineer, and automate approvals as volume grows.

  • Coach AEs on deal structure for large multi-location operators and PE-backed platforms.

What success looks like in year one
  • A published approval matrix and pricing playbook, with deal reviews turned around in hours, not days.

  • Discounting and margin reported monthly, by segment and rep.

  • At least one pricing or packaging change shipped based on your analysis.

  • Approvals routed and tracked in our systems instead of Slack threads.

What you bring
  • 3+ years in deal desk, pricing, revenue operations, FP&A or a similar commercial role. Consulting or banking backgrounds welcome.

  • Strong quantitative skills and advanced Excel or Google Sheets; SQL is a plus. You're happy to build the model yourself.

  • Working knowledge of SaaS contract terms and revenue recognition basics.

  • A track record of building a process or policy from scratch and getting sales leaders to adopt it.

  • The judgment to say no with a better alternative, and the credibility to hold that line with executives.

  • A degree in economics, finance, engineering or another quantitative field, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have
  • Experience with Salesforce CPQ, DealHub or similar quoting tools.

  • Experience pricing usage-based or AI products.

  • Experience using AI coding assistants to automate business processes or build internal tools.

Our values

  2. Every second counts

  3. Sweat the details

  4. There are no blockers

  5. Be self-directed

  6. Seek and speak the truth

  7. Enjoy the ride
