We're looking for a Deal Management Financial Contracts Analyst for a contract engagement to bridge contracts and finance by ensuring the financial terms in our agreements are accurately reflected in our financial systems. In this role, you will review contract language, validate financial data, and help maintain the integrity of financial reporting tied to content and partner deals.
Reporting to the Director, Contracts and Rights Management, you'll identify discrepancies, document findings, and partner with stakeholders to ensure deal data aligns with contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review contracts and analyze financial and commercial terms
- Compare contract terms against entries in financial systems
- Identify and document discrepancies
- Partner with internal teams to resolve issues and ensure data accuracy
- Support reporting and compliance efforts tied to deal data
- 5+ years interpreting contract financial terms and validating them against financial records
- Strong ability to analyze and interpret complex contract language, especially financial and commercial terms
- Understanding of basic accounting principles related to contracts (e.g., revenue recognition)
- Experience working with financial systems and reconciling data
- Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards
- Experience with financial modeling including advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Law, or related field
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Experience with Rightsline and Alliant systems a plus
