About Modern Treasury

Modern Treasury provides the most trusted infrastructure for global money movement. Trusted by leading enterprises and fast-growing startups, the platform helps businesses launch and scale payment experiences in days, not months, with best-in-class developer tools and a single API for both fiat and stablecoin transactions. With built-in compliance, ledgering, and reporting, Modern Treasury enables instant, reliable, and scalable money movement for companies of all sizes.

About the Role

We're hiring a RevOps Systems Admin to be the builder behind our revenue systems — Salesforce, LeanData, Chili Piper, HubSpot, and beyond. This isn't a maintenance seat: you're inheriting a real backlog of structural work (an account hierarchy rebuild, a new opportunity/product data model, a lead-routing redesign, and a new customer lifecycle model), plus day-to-day ownership of the tools that run our revenue motion.

You'll partner with our RevOps Ops & Analytics Lead, who sets the architecture on major structural work. Everything else — routing tweaks, workflow changes, field and flow fixes — you design and ship yourself, with a fast sign-off loop instead of a committee. You bring the hands-on tool expertise that keeps the architecture honest; we bring a stack that's actually changing over the next year, not one you're just keeping the lights on for.

We're AI-first and mean it operationally: you'll use AI daily to build faster, and you'll partner with Engineering to replace repetitive manual GTM work with agents.

What You'll Own
  • Salesforce building: fields, flows, validation rules, page layouts, routing configuration

  • Operational workflows across the full GTM stack — Salesforce, LeanData, Chili Piper, HubSpot, and beyond

  • Partnering with Engineering to automate repetitive GTM work with AI agents

  • Day-to-day requests from Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance — keeping data clean and issues resolved fast

  • Your own designs for day-to-day and recurring changes, with a quick sign-off, not a lengthy review

  • Data inputs supporting Finance's forecasting and revenue models

  • Judgment on when a build needs an outside specialist

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain fields, flows, validation rules, and layouts across Salesforce

  • Draft and own routing and workflow configuration across the stack, with sign-off from the GTM Ops & Analytics Lead on anything nontrivial

  • Lead execution on major system redesigns: account hierarchy, opportunity and product data model, lead routing, customer lifecycle

  • Identify repetitive, rules-based GTM workflows with Engineering and build agents to automate them

  • Use AI tools daily in your own build process — and stand behind everything you ship

  • Resolve requests from Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance — field changes, workflow fixes, routing and scheduling issues, data cleanup

What We're Looking For
  • Highly AI-capable: you use AI tools daily to build and move faster, and you can stand behind every output

  • 4–7+ years building and maintaining Salesforce and a broader GTM stack (LeanData, Chili Piper, HubSpot, Hex, or equivalents)

  • You want ownership of a real stack, not a seat reporting on one — comfortable owning execution and proposing your own designs for day-to-day work

  • Strong communicator who flags status and risk before being asked

  • Collaborative — brings solutions and pressure-tests designs without needing to own the overall strategy

  • Good judgment about when a build needs to go to a specialist

  • Comfortable in Hex (or similar BI tool) is a plus — this role doesn't own reporting, but occasional dashboard support is welcome

What you need to know about the San Francisco Tech Scene

San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area attracts more startup funding than any other region in the world. Home to Stanford University and UC Berkeley, leading VC firms and several of the world’s most valuable companies, the Bay Area is the place to go for anyone looking to make it big in the tech industry. That said, San Francisco has a lot to offer beyond technology thanks to a thriving art and music scene, excellent food and a short drive to several of the country’s most beautiful recreational areas.

Key Facts About San Francisco Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 365,500; 13.9% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, fintech, consumer technology, software
  • Funding Landscape: $50.5 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Sequoia Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, Bessemer Venture Partners, Greylock Partners, Khosla Ventures, Kleiner Perkins
  • Research Centers and Universities: Stanford University; University of California, Berkeley; University of San Francisco; Santa Clara University; Ames Research Center; Center for AI Safety; California Institute for Regenerative Medicine
