About the role:

We're looking for a Demand Generation Lead to help drive LangChain's next wave of growth. In this role, you'll own the strategy and execution of demand generation programs and own our inbound pipeline number for sales. You'll be responsible for building and scaling multi-channel campaigns that reach developers and enterprise decision-makers where they are.

This is a high-impact role where you'll work cross-functionally with sales, product, and engineering to shape how the world discovers and adopts AI agent technology. If you're a growth-minded marketer who thrives in fast-paced, unstructured environments, and loves building demand gen programs from the ground up, we'd love to hear from you. Today, our marketing strategy is content and community heavy, with a complete greenfield in most paid channels. You’ll get to stand up these programs from pilot to scale.

While this role will grow to lead a team, you need to be ready to get your hands dirty and get things done. You’re not afraid to tweak flows in marketing automation tools, write email and ad copy, and own the process for experimentation. You’re excited about and already using AI to improve results.

What you'll do:
  • Own inbound pipeline — Build and scale multi-channel campaigns (digital, events, content, partnerships) that drive qualified pipeline for our sales team

  • Drive developer-focused growth — Create programs that resonate with technical audiences, leveraging community engagement, content marketing, developer events, and product-led growth strategies

  • Optimize the funnel — Analyze campaign performance, identify opportunities, and iterate rapidly to improve conversion rates and pipeline quality across the entire buyer journey

  • Partner cross-functionally — Collaborate closely with sales, product marketing, developer relations, and engineering to align campaigns with product launches, customer insights, and revenue goals

  • Build scalable systems — Implement marketing automation, lead scoring, and attribution frameworks that enable data-driven decision making and efficient growth

  • Experiment and innovate — Test new channels, tactics, and messaging to stay ahead of the curve in the rapidly evolving AI landscape

  • Manage budget and vendors — Allocate resources strategically across channels and manage relationships with agencies, contractors, and marketing technology vendors

What we're looking for:
  • Experience: 8+ years in demand generation, growth marketing, or B2B marketing roles, preferably at developer-focused or technical product companies, 2+ years in management

  • Track record of pipeline impact: Proven ability to drive measurable results—you've built and scaled demand gen programs that consistently deliver qualified pipeline and revenue

  • Developer marketing experience: Deep understanding of how to reach and engage technical audiences through community, content, and product-led strategies

  • Data-driven mindset: Strong analytical skills with experience using marketing analytics, attribution modeling, and experimentation to optimize campaigns

  • Cross-functional collaboration: Excellent communication and partnership skills—you work well with sales, product, and engineering teams

  • Ownership mentality: You're a self-starter who thrives in ambiguity, takes initiative, and drives results with minimal direction

  • Technical curiosity: Interest in AI/ML and the ability to understand and articulate technical concepts to various audiences (bonus: familiarity with LangChain or similar AI frameworks)

  • Product minded: We don’t want our demand gen folks to rely on product marketing for every piece of copy. You and your team must become experts on the products to write for and build programs around our products that resonate.

Location: Onsite in San Francisco, CA (in-person) preferred or New York, NY

Compensation: We offer competitive compensation that includes base salary, meaningful equity, and benefits such as health and dental coverage, flexible vacation, a 401(k) plan, and life insurance. Actual compensation will vary based on role, level, and location. For team members in the EU and UK, we provide locally competitive benefits aligned with regional norms and regulations. Salary Range: $200,000 - $240,000
