Demand Generation Manager, Cybersecurity and Data Protection

ConnectWise is looking for a Demand Generation Manager to own pipeline and revenue growth for our Cybersecurity and Data Protection business, including managed EDR, SIEM, data protection, and more. This is an established business unit with real momentum, and we are looking for someone to come in with fresh eyes, challenge what has been built, and take growth to the next level. You will be targeting IT and security leaders and building programs that meet buyers where they are in an increasingly complex threat landscape. If you are energized by owning a high visibility portfolio and driving measurable impact, this is your seat.

What You’ll Own

  • Serve as the single point of accountability for the end-to-end go-to-market motion for Cybersecurity and Data Protection, owning the product narrative, the web and digital presence, the campaign portfolio, performance and sales feedback loop as one integrated system
  • Act as the hub for all go-to-market activity for your product, orchestrating centralized resources across digital, outbound, webinars, content, and PMM; you are accountable for making them work together for your product
  • Own pipeline creation and contribution to bookings targets for the portfolio, you are accountable for the numbers not just the activity that surrounds them
  • Develop and execute campaign strategy including channel mix, content offers, and program planning to hit defined pipeline targets
  • Partner with Rev Ops to build reporting rhythms that track performance, surface leakage, and drive continuous optimization
  • Work closely with Sales leadership to maintain tight feedback loops on lead quality, pipeline health, and campaign effectiveness, continuously adjusting programs based on what is converting
  • Act as the internal champion for the Cybersecurity and Data Protection vertical, communicating campaign status, results, and upcoming programs to leadership and key stakeholders
  • Identify gaps in the demand engine and bring forward recommendations to close them

What You Bring

  • 6+ years in B2B demand generation with a track record of owning pipeline targets and delivering results, not just executing tasks
  • Experience in cybersecurity, data protection, or an adjacent security category in a SaaS environment is required, you understand the landscape, the buyer, and what drives urgency in this space
  • Track record of operating as a GTM generalist within a specialized vertical: you have run campaigns, but you have also shaped positioning, influenced web strategy, and driven sales alignment without needing to own every function directly
  • Ability to come into an established motion, assess what is working and what is not, and drive change with conviction
  • Strong cross-functional instincts: you know how to align with Sales, work with PMM, and get things done without perfect conditions
  • Hands-on experience with Martech (Salesforce, Marketo or HubSpot, Outreach or similar)
  • Data-driven mindset: reporting is a standard part of your workflow, not an afterthought
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience

What Success Looks Like in 90 Days

  • You have a clear audit of existing programs, what is performing, what is not, and where the gaps are
  • A revised demand gen plan is defined and socialized with Sales leadership
  • At least one net new campaign is in market
  • Sales, SDR, and product teams know exactly what Cybersecurity and Data Protection demand gen is doing and why
