About the company

Braintrust is building the modern platform for evaluating and deploying AI systems. Our mission is to help enterprises build trust in their AI by making it easy to test, monitor, and improve models using real-world evaluation frameworks. We work with cutting-edge customers in finance, healthcare, and tech who are building production-grade AI systems.

About the role

We are looking for a hybrid Developer Growth and Demand Generation Manager who lives and breathes developer-focused content and knows how to effectively deliver it across multiple channels. You’ll blend demand generation, developer relations, and product-led growth to create meaningful engagements with developers, driving adoption, retention, and pipeline growth.

This role requires autonomy, creativity, technical aptitude, and a data-driven approach to growth marketing. You will closely collaborate with product marketing and sales to build campaigns and content strategies that resonate deeply with developers.

What you’ll do

PLG Strategy & Execution

Develop and execute Braintrust’s PLG strategy, focusing on developer-centric growth and aligning organic (SEO, content, developer advocacy) and paid channels (search, social, email, webinars, field marketing).

Implement and maintain growth strategies that will provide outsized impact and clearly guide developers and technical buyers through their journey, including but not limited to:

  • Implementing lifecycle marketing strategies tailored to developers, ensuring alignment with sales enablement and pipeline acceleration.

  • Conducting field marketing activities, including workshops, webinars, conferences, and developer meetups, to deepen community engagement.

  • Sourcing and performing bottoms up sourcing to top developers, expanding brand visibility and community.

Product Led Growth

  • Design in-product onboarding (checklists, progressive disclosures, AI-assisted quick-starts).

  • Run iterative growth experiments (A/B tests) to improve time-to-first-value by X%.

  • Partner with Growth Engineering to build self-serve upgrade paths and usage-based paywalls.

  • Own product messaging in UI (empty states, upsell nudges, release notes carousel).

  • Collaborate with Customer Success on in-app feedback loops and NPS triggers.

Website Optimization

  • Lead website optimization to improve user discovery and search traffic results.

  • Create technical content (tutorials, documentation, cookbooks, guides) to attract, educate, and retain developer users.

Operations and Analytics

  • Instrument and monitor product-usage metrics: activation rate, AHOC, PQL conversion, maintaining dashboards and iterating quickly based on insights.

  • Partner closely with RevOps to ensure accurate measurement and reporting across the funnel, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making.

  • Define and operationalize PQL and community-qualified-lead (CQL) scoring models.

Ideal candidate credentials
  • 5-10 years of experience in a combination of demand generation, growth marketing, developer relations, or developer-focused product marketing roles.

  • Proven ability to produce technical content (code samples, tutorials, documentation) and manage developer communities effectively.

  • Hands-on experience running high-impact growth campaigns across SEO, paid media, email marketing, content syndication, and developer community channels.

  • Analytical mindset with demonstrated experience in data-driven marketing, conversion optimization, and funnel management.

  • Familiarity with lifecycle marketing and sales enablement, specifically targeting developer personas and technical decision-makers.

  • Comfortable in technical environments, with experience partnering closely with engineering and product teams.

  • Self-driven with excellent project management skills and the ability to thrive autonomously in fast-paced, dynamic settings.

Benefits include
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance

  • 401k plan

  • Daily lunch, snacks, and beverages

  • Flexible time off

  • Competitive salary and equity

  • AI Stipend
