Graphite Financial is a growing boutique finance, accounting, tax, and strategy firm (www.graphitefinancial.com) built to help startup and high-growth companies scale efficiently and sustainably. Graphite Financial is redefining the “finance department” for early-stage companies and VC-backed startups. We deliver high-caliber accounting and finance leadership and support to entrepreneurs and management teams building scalable, high-growth companies. Our clients are actively managing cash burn, measuring performance, reporting to investors, making capital allocation decisions, and preparing for fundraising. All of that takes expertise and time that founders don’t have and can’t afford to hire for. Graphite bridges the gap with flexible, fixed-fee support packages that provide fractional leadership and operational support from CFOs, Controllers, FP&A Managers, and Tax leaders.
About the Role
Graphite is looking for a Demand Generation Specialist to own the programs that build awareness, generate interest, and bring qualified prospects into the funnel. You’ll lead top-of-funnel strategy and execution across SEO, paid media, content, and social — turning visibility into opportunity.
The Demand Generation Specialist drives top-of-funnel acquisition through paid, organic, and social channels, running experiments to lower CAC and increase qualified lead flow while partnering with Lifecycle and BOFU efforts to keep messaging consistent.
This role blends analytical thinking with creative energy. You’ll experiment across channels, refine what works, and tell Graphite’s story in a way that resonates with founders, finance leaders, and the startup ecosystem.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute integrated demand-generation campaigns across SEO, paid search, paid social, and organic channels.
- Plan, write, and optimize content — blog posts, guides, landing pages, and social campaigns — that attract and engage the right audience.
- Manage and grow Graphite’s organic social presence; build consistent narratives across channels.
- Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices to drive organic traffic and ranking improvements.
- Manage paid budgets, ad creative, and campaign optimization to maximize ROI.
- Collaborate with the design and content teams to ensure every campaign aligns with Graphite’s brand and messaging.
- Explore partnerships, sponsorships, and light PR efforts to extend reach and credibility.
- Report on performance metrics, including lead quality, conversion, cost efficiency, and engagement — and turn insights into action.
- Stay on top of evolving digital trends, channel algorithms, and creative formats to keep Graphite ahead of the curve.
What You’ll Bring
- 3+ years of experience in demand generation, digital marketing, or content-led growth — ideally within a B2B or professional services environment.
- A track record of building awareness engines — not just running ads or writing posts, but architecting how prospects discover, engage, and remember a brand.
- Strong command of SEO, paid search, paid social, and analytics, with hands-on experience in tools like Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, GA4, HubSpot, and Ahrefs.
- Deep understanding of acquisition economics — how CAC, CTR, and conversion interplay, and how to lower cost without sacrificing quality.
- Fluency in both art and math: equal parts storyteller and analyst. You can write the headline and explain why it worked.
- Excellent writing and storytelling skills, with a sharp sense for tone, clarity, and audience.
- Comfort managing multiple levers at once — paid, organic, social, and partnerships — and knowing how they reinforce each other.
- Curiosity about human behavior and buyer psychology; you’re obsessed with why people click, share, and convert.
- Cross-functional collaborator who interprets data, moves fast, and makes confident, informed decisions.
- Bonus: experience with PR, media, or influencer outreach to extend reach beyond owned channels.
