ABOUT GOVSIGNALS

GovSignals is the AI system of work for government contracting. It can take the government longer to buy a capability than an adversary takes to field one, and we exist to close that gap.

We're the only startup managing government contract data with AI in both FedRAMP High and DoW Impact Level 5 environments. Our platform monitors 5,000+ live government data sources, 100,000+ federal and state agencies, and 2,000,000+ government contracts in real time. Our customers range from small contractors to Fortune 500 primes with billions in annual awards, and our government work reaches mission critical contract management. In the past 18 months, we've earned FedRAMP High and IL5 authorizations, joined GSA MAS and the MDA SHIELD IDIQ, and signed some of the biggest names in government contracting.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We're hiring multiple Deployment Strategists to expand our deployment team. You'll work directly with the CPO and own the customer relationship from the moment a deal closes: onboarding, activation, training, and the expansion that follows. You're responsible for customers getting measurable value; for contractors: a stronger pipeline, faster proposal cycles, and more wins; for agencies: faster market research and acquisitions that close on schedule.

You'll work with one side of the table: either government contractors (VPs of Business Development, Capture Managers, and Proposal Directors) or government agencies (Contracting Officers, Program Managers, and Executives). GovSignals offers them what no other platform can: a roster of AI agents that own each phase of government contracting, pre-award to post-award: market intelligence, capture, proposals, and post-award contracting. The same agents serve contractors that respond to work and agencies that solicit it, with strict data isolation between customers. On a freshly released solicitation, in under an hour, the platform produces market research, a basis of estimate, a clause review,, and a first-draft proposal package. You configure it to each customer's workflow, train their teams, measure adoption, and drive expansion.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Own onboarding from signed contract through go-live, as the single point of accountability for getting a customer activated.

  • Run discovery with new customers: map how their BD, capture, and proposal teams operate, then build a deployment plan around their org structure, procurement workflow, and compliance constraints.

  • Translate a customer's workflow into product configuration, training, and a measurable path to value.

  • Drive expansion and renewals through documented ROI to new teams and use cases

  • Carry customer feedback into product, pricing, and roadmap decisions, and turn cross-account patterns into go-to-market input.

  • Work closely with the Product Engineering team to improve the product.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 3+ years in Customer Success, Professional Services, Implementation, or Account Management at a high-growth B2B SaaS company — owning complex enterprise accounts with multiple stakeholders and long timelines.

  • You've built a function or process where none existed: a SOP, an onboarding motion, or a deployment practice.

  • Credible with senior buyers and government officials, and able to move a deployment forward without formal authority.

  • Government-contracting fluency, or a fast path to it. You know how to build a compliance matrix, can explain the difference between a GSA Schedule and an OTA, and understand the recompete calendar and red-team review.

  • Technical enough to understand APIs, data flows, and product configuration.

Nice to have: experience deploying software residing in FedRAMP, IL, or other regulated environments; a background in government contracting, the military, or the intelligence community.

THE TEAM

GovSignals was founded by four cofounders who lived with this problem from both sides — selling to the government and serving inside it — with backgrounds across the Defense Intelligence Agency, the Department of Energy, Palantir, Amazon, federal contractors building for missiles, and state contractors building for prisons. You'll work directly with all four. The team at GovSignals has shipped to defense companies, scaled venture-backed startups, and founded companies of their own.

HOW WE HIRE

  • Intro conversation (30 min) — your background and how you work with customers.

  • Working session (45 min) — run a live mock onboarding with us, deploy us on a product.

  • Co-founder conversations (15 min) — meet the cofounders.

  • Paid work trial (1 day) — real work with the team.

  • Offer.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  • Base Salary: $100,000–$150,000

  • Bonus: Additional performance bonus

  • Equity: Meaningful stake in a well-funded, fast-growing startup

  • Benefits: medical, vision, and dental, unlimited PTO

  • Brooklyn Navy Yard office, 3+ days a week in person, with travel to customer sites (roughly 25%, around onboardings and key reviews). The Yard built ships for the Navy from 1801 to 1966, now we build systems for Navy program offices.

Due to the nature of our government work, only U.S. persons can be considered for this role. GovSignals is an equal opportunity employer.

  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, fintech, consumer technology, software
  • Funding Landscape: $50.5 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
