Who We Are
At OKX, we believe that the future will be reshaped by crypto, and ultimately contribute to every individual's freedom. OKX is a leading crypto exchange, and the developer of OKX Wallet, giving millions access to crypto trading and decentralized crypto applications (dApps). OKX is also a trusted brand by hundreds of large institutions seeking access to crypto markets. We are safe and reliable, backed by our Proof of Reserves. Across our multiple offices globally, we are united by our core principles: We Before Me, Do the Right Thing, and Get Things Done. These shared values drive our culture, shape our processes, and foster a friendly, rewarding, and diverse environment for every OK-er.
About the Opportunity
Our product design organization is entering a new chapter of growth, and we’re seeking a global leader in Design Systems and Visual Experience to set the creative standard across all product touchpoints. You’ll shape the visual direction of our brand and experiences, bringing world-class art direction and storytelling to everything we create. At the same time, you’ll evolve our design system to ensure that every experience is not only visually distinctive, but also scalable, consistent, differentiated and unified across global teams.
This role is pivotal in defining how millions of people — from first-time traders to global institutions — engage with the next generation of crypto. You’ll drive how OKX scales design across CeFi, DeFi, and Web3, creating a cohesive global brand and product ecosystem that balances clarity, creativity, and impact.
What You’ll Be Doing
  • Partner with product and business leadership to ensure design systems and visual identity directly drive product adoption, retention, and brand differentiation.
  • Provide global art direction and visual leadership to elevate the look, feel, and usability of our products.
  • Strengthen, scale, and lead our design system to drive consistency, efficiency, and quality across all product experiences.
  • Guide and inspire globally distributed designers to raise the bar for craft and execution.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing partners to ensure design excellence across user journeys.
  • Balance creativity with scalability, delivering design solutions that are both expressive and systematic.
  • Adapt quickly to shifting priorities in a fast-paced, demanding environment while maintaining high standards.
  • Foster a strong design culture that encourages growth, collaboration, and innovation.
What We Look For In You
  • Proven experience in both visual design and design systems — with a background in hands-on execution as an IC and recent experience in management.
  • Strong expertise in product design art direction and visual storytelling, branding experience is a plus (but not the sole focus).
  • Deep knowledge of systematic design thinking and building scalable, unified systems.
  • Experience scaling design teams and building cross-functional design operations in high-growth environments.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence at C-suite level and represent design externally.
  • Track record of successfully managing and inspiring globally distributed teams.
  • Ability to set strategic design direction and influence stakeholders at the highest level.
  • Adaptable, solution-oriented, and comfortable in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
Nice to Haves
  • Familiarity with web3 culture and community to help differentiate our brand and products.
  • Experience bridging visual design and product design systems during times of organizational growth.
  • Track record of contributing to design communities (speaking, writing, open-source, or thought leadership).
  • Proficiency in Mandarin, to communicate effectively with engineering teams in the Hong Kong and Singapore regions.
Perks & Benefits
  • Competitive total compensation package
  • Equity grants with refresh opportunities
  • L&D programs and Education subsidy for employees' growth and development
  • Various team building programs and company events
  • Wellness and meal allowances
  • Comprehensive healthcare schemes for employees and dependants
  • More that we love to tell you along the process!
