About us

Parallel is a web infrastructure company. Our products are used by leading businesses in sales, marketing, insurance, and coding to build best-in-class AI agents with flexible and powerful programmatic access to the web.

We've raised $230 million from Kleiner Perkins, Sequoia, Index Ventures, Spark Capital, Khosla Ventures, First Round, and Terrain to build the web for AIs. We're currently valued at $2 billion and we're forming a world-class team of engineers, designers, marketers, sellers, researchers, and operational experts to achieve our mission.

Job: As our design engineer, you'll work across the full range of what we ship: from the polished component libraries that hold our developer platform together, to the ambitious launch work that introduces our products to the world. That means reimagining the playground, bringing coherence to our API architecture and navigation, and shipping the systems that scale across surfaces. It also means leading microsites, interactive demos, and the kind of launch moments that make people stop scrolling. You'll prototype in the browser, push to production, and shape what we build alongside design, engineering, and product from the start, not after scoping is done.
You: Your portfolio shows high visual craft without losing function, and your work lives in code from exploration through production. You're as comfortable shipping a polished component library as you are pulling off an ambitious launch microsite. You think in systems, push back when the reasoning is sound, and move fast without being precious. You're opening PRs from week one, and you don't treat the line between design and engineering as someone else's problem.
