About the Role

As a design engineer at Accordance, you will work on a company that cares deeply about craft and visual polish to research and develop interfaces for AI. Alongside our Product and Engineering teams, you’ll help design, engineer, and iterate on our core products. This is a role for someone who can move fluidly between designing beautiful interfaces and developing frontend at production quality. We are looking for individuals with a background in design that are excited about building the agentic professional services systems of the future.

The role is based in San Francisco, CA. We use an in-person work model and offer relocation assistance to new employees.

Responsibilities
  • Design beautiful and functional Interfaces

  • Translate design craft into production-quality frontend code

  • Shape the visual language of an AI-native product

  • Prototype quickly, test with users, and iterate fast

Qualifications

Candidates should have 2+ YoE in a design role. Additionally, you may be a strong fit for this role if you:

  • Have experience in developing web apps with React, NextJS, JS, CSS, and other web-based frameworks.

  • Exceptional visual design sense, with a strong eye for detail and user delight.

  • Are self-directed and comfortable working autonomously.

  • Maintain a high personal velocity and move with urgency and agency.

  • Have excellent product intuition and problem solving skills.
