About the Team: 

The Brand & Communications team drives all aspects of brand identity, media relations, digital media, and content strategy, focusing on both external impact and internal alignment. Our mission is to position the company as a trusted industry leader and household name, shaping the narrative around our bold vision and groundbreaking milestones. By crafting compelling stories and innovative campaigns, we energize and inspire stakeholders, fueling momentum that drives Relativity’s mission forward. 

About the Role:

The Design Lead will shape how Relativity shows up across every touchpoint, from launch campaigns to internal communications, digital platforms, employee brand, events, and physical spaces. This role requires both creative leadership and hands-on design execution, with the ability to maintain a high bar for craft while operating in a fast-paced, highly technical environment. In this role, you’ll 

  • Maintain and strengthen Relativity’s brand identity, style guide, and visual systems to build awareness, recognition, and consistency both internally and externally 
  • Concept, design, and produce a wide variety of creative assets (digital, print, environmental design, etc.) to communicate Relativity’s mission and build brand engagement 
  • Translate creative briefs, brand strategies, and business needs into high-impact, creative solutions  
  • Establish design systems that produce consistent, high-quality results 
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver creative solutions and ensure brand consistency across the company 
  • Manage and mentor other designers ensuring timely and consistent execution as well as oversee vendor relationships and maintain brand alignment across projects 

About You:

  • 7+ years of experience as a designer in a fast-paced environment and pro-level fluency in Adobe Creative Suite 
  • A wholistic approach to brand and design and how it lives across all touchpoints 
  • Experienced people leader who mentors designers, provides clear creative direction, and fosters a high-performing team environment 
  • Portfolio demonstrating breadth, depth, and creativity 
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment 
  • Natural collaborator with a proactive mindset and strong sense of ownership 

Nice to haves but not required:  

  • Experience with animation, web and/or illustration 
  • Experience working with technical renderings or CAD-based visuals 
  • Experience in aerospace, advanced manufacturing, technology, or other engineering-led industries

Hiring Range:
$146,000$201,500 USD
