The Design Services Designer contracted position calls for availability between 15-35 hours a week (hours are not guaranteed and are dependent on volume). The designer is responsible for creating and designing albums for customers using the Artifact Uprising editor, a third-party proofing system, and Adobe tools when needed. 

A Designer offers additional revenue to the company as a whole, as well as provides white-glove service to the customer, easing customer pain points by doing so.

This position requires a flexible schedule. Hours are dependent on volume and are not guaranteed. This position will start in October 2026, and may end as early as January 2027, depending on volume. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Design albums for Design Service customers in the Artifact Uprising editor

  • Curate customer images 

  • Communicate with Account Manager, Program Manager, and customers in a timely manner 

  • Communicate any bugs or improvements needed in proper Slack channels 

  • Phone calls with Design Service customers upon request

  • Daily direct email correspondence with Design Service customers 

  • Effectively and efficiently manage multiple projects and delivery drafts on time

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication, decision-making, leadership, and organizational skills

  • A strong eye for composition such as framing and balancing the design

  • Problem-solving skills

  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills

  • Proficiency in Asana, Slack, and  Adobe tools is helpful

  • Great interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with others directly, efficiently, and empathetically both verbally and written

  • Excellent attention to detail and proven ability to do so in past work

  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude
