Role Summary:
Penta’s Brand Strategy department is seeking a well rounded Designer with a keen eye for detail to join our team. This role involves developing a variety of creative assets across various mediums to support the execution of client projects. A successful candidate has 1-3 years of experience in designing at a creative agency or at an advertising/marketing agency. The candidate must have strong design and time management skills and the ability to interpret client needs. A successful candidate is intellectually curious, eager to learn and contribute, works well in teams, and interested in developing creative solutions that help scale the reach and resonance of important ideas.
The Designer is expected to:
- Design creative assets to be used for digital (displays, websites, social media), visual story boards, print, and OOH client needs
- Push the boundaries of imagery, typography, color, pattern and texture to build compelling creative solutions
- Exhibit an impeccable design sense and a discerning eye
- Understand the specific business case and agreed-upon strategy for every project, with an appreciation for the client’s business and industry
- Maintain an active awareness of visual trends, technological advances and cultural nuances within the design landscape
- Look for opportunities to disrupt the visual landscape in service of great ideas
- Have the ability to think beyond static executions to address deliverables like motion design and interactive design
- Work productively and harmoniously as a teammate with those who share responsibility on day-to-day assignments
- Have a strong ability to prioritize work and manage their own time based on short and long-term needs
- Own the material application of design ideas across multiple executions (versioning)
- Under the direction of the CD, sees work through completion – including, versioning, quality assurance and proofing before final production
- Preferably a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years of experience design for a variety of applications at a creative agency, marking/advertising agency, or in a related field
- Good judgment and imagination to be able to make recommendations for the visual elements of design systems, advertising campaigns, and presentations
- Strong familiarity with essential design software like Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
- Proficiency with workplace productivity tools including Slack, Google Slides, PowerPoint and Asana
- A demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple, competing assignments
- A demonstrated ability to work well as part of a team
- The ability to take initiative; motivated and self-starting
- Solid presentation skills and strong attention to detail
- A willingness to learn new skills and participate in new projects
- Be extremely detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Experience with motion graphics or animation is a plus
- Experience with HTML 5 is a plus
The base salary range for this position will be $65,000 - $85,000, depending on a candidate’s experience and qualifications as they relate to the position.

This position is for US-based personnel and is fully remote. Core hours for the role will be 11 am - 5 pm ET. Regardless of geolocation, everyone on the team is expected to work an eight hour day and be online during this window, excluding standard lunch and break times.
