About Buildkite

Buildkite's CI platform is trusted by the world's leading engineering teams, shipping software to over 1,000,000,000 daily users.

Role Overview

We're looking for a Dev Marketing Specialist to execute the programs, campaigns, and distribution systems that earn developer attention and move pipeline. You'll be the operational engine behind our go-to-market motion — keeping campaigns on track, assets shipping on time, and channels running with consistency.

This role is built for someone who knows the developer audience, can work across content, campaigns, and channels without dropping the ball, and takes pride in clean execution over big ideas.

What You'll Do

  • Own day-to-day execution of demand capture campaigns; activating signals and scoring, coordinating assets, timelines, reviews, and launches cross-functionally across go-to-market
  • Manage our channel calendar and distribution cadence; what goes out, when, in what format, and what gets refreshed or retired
  • Keep campaigns grounded in technical reality — maintain quality standards and flag drift early when proof points or assets aren't ready
  • Ensure campaign assets land cleanly with the sales team and develop a library of living sales-ready assets
  • Track performance against real metrics, report consistently, and surface what needs attention
  • Maintain the operational loops that keep the team compounding: content, campaign iteration, distribution, and enablement feedback

What You Bring

  • 4–7 years of B2B marketing experience, ideally in devtools, developer-focused SaaS, or technical infrastructure products
  • You understand what developers ignore vs. what earns their respect — and you apply that instinct to everything you touch
  • Strong project management skills — you create clarity from complexity and keep multiple workstreams moving without heroics
  • Comfortable working across content, email, social, events, and paid — you don't need to be the expert in all of them, but you can execute across all of them
  • Strong written communication; you can write a decent first draft and know when something isn't landing
  • You document decisions, flag risks, and close loops — people trust you to own things
  • Familiarity with GTM tooling (HubSpot, Attio, Clay, or similar) is a plus

Nice to Haves

  • Experience in CI/CD, DevOps, or infra marketing
  • Exposure to ABM or demand capture programs
  • Comfort with agentic workflows or marketing automation
