Hellyeah is an AI-powered growth engine that makes paid acquisition automatic, measurable, and accessible to any business. The DevRel role's mission: make Hellyeah the default growth infrastructure that developers integrate into every new product — as natural as adding Stripe for payments or Supabase for auth. Through documentation, SDKs, templates, community, and partner integrations, continuously drive integration volume, active developers, and organic advocacy.

Must Have:

1. Strong engineering ability — can build demos, SDK examples, templates, and developer tooling in production-quality code. 2. 3+ years in DevRel, developer marketing, developer success, or technical evangelism for B2B SaaS / API-first products. 3. Can read code, write code, and explain technical concepts clearly in docs, demos, and community channels. 4. Strong writing and communication across docs, guides, issues, and public-facing content. 5. Comfortable operating cross-functionally with product, engineering, and growth.
Nice to Have:
1. Open-source maintainer or visible public technical presence. 2. Experience with SDKs, CLIs, analytics or instrumentation products. 3. Experience with partnership launches, templates, meetups, and community building. 4. Familiarity with AI coding ecosystems and vibe-coder platforms. 5. Experience spanning both developer growth and product engineering.

Own the developer growth path from awareness to trial to integration to advocacy while also shipping real engineering work. Build and maintain SDK examples, templates, demo apps, quickstarts, troubleshooting guides, and integration snippets. Drive open-source and community presence. Partner with engineering on developer tooling and with growth on ecosystem distribution. This role is not content-only — it includes hands-on building and engineer work.

San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area attracts more startup funding than any other region in the world. Home to Stanford University and UC Berkeley, leading VC firms and several of the world’s most valuable companies, the Bay Area is the place to go for anyone looking to make it big in the tech industry. Key Facts About San Francisco Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 365,500; 13.9% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, fintech, consumer technology, software
  • Funding Landscape: $50.5 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Sequoia Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, Bessemer Venture Partners, Greylock Partners, Khosla Ventures, Kleiner Perkins
