About DeepInfra

DeepInfra is building the infrastructure layer for the next generation of AI. We believe open-source models are the future, and companies should have full control over their AI stack without being locked into proprietary providers.

Our inference platform serves trillions of tokens every week across hundreds of production workloads. We build everything from GPU infrastructure to the API layer because every millisecond matters.

DeepInfra is looking for a Developer Advocate to build our Developer Relations function from the ground up.

Why this role matters

You'll help developers build AI applications on our inference platform by creating technical content, engaging with the community, speaking at events, and working closely with our engineering and product teams.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building, teaching, and connecting with developers. You'll have significant ownership in defining how DeepInfra engages with the AI developer community while helping shape the future of open-source AI infrastructure.

What You'll Do

  • Build and grow DeepInfra's developer community through online engagement, meetups, and industry events.
  • Create technical content including blog posts, tutorials, videos, sample applications, demos, and documentation.
  • Help developers successfully build with DeepInfra by sharing best practices around AI models, inference, prompting, and production deployment.
  • Collect feedback from developers and partner with Product and Engineering to improve the platform.
  • Represent DeepInfra at conferences, hackathons, webinars, podcasts, and developer meetups.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Product, Sales, and Marketing to support product launches, customer conversations, and developer adoption.
  • Highlight customer and community success stories that inspire more developers to build on DeepInfra.

What You Bring

  • 2+ years in Developer Relations, Developer Advocacy, Solutions Engineering, Technical Evangelism, or a similar developer-facing role.
  • Strong technical background with AI/ML, LLMs, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Software engineering experience with Python or a similar language and the ability to build demos and sample applications.
  • Experience creating high-quality technical content including blogs, tutorials, videos, documentation, or conference presentations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
  • A genuine passion for helping developers succeed and building developer communities.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and define strategy in a fast-moving startup environment.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and experience working with Engineering, Product, Marketing, and Sales.

Bonus

  • Experience as the first or early Developer Advocate at a startup.
  • Open-source contributions or an active presence in the AI developer community.
  • Conference speaking experience or an established technical audience through GitHub, YouTube, blogs, or social media.
  • Experience working with inference infrastructure, GPUs, or production AI systems.

Why DeepInfra

  • Build our Developer Relations program from day one and have a direct impact on its direction.
  • Work on the infrastructure powering the next generation of open-source AI applications.
  • Join a small, high-performing team where your work ships quickly and reaches developers around the world.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers building high-performance inference systems at scale.
  • Help shape how developers build with some of the world's leading open-source AI models.

How we work

Three traits define the people who thrive here, and this role leans on all three.

Initiative. We take ownership and step in where we can add value. Whether it’s starting something new, improving what exists, or helping move ideas forward, we aim to be proactive and thoughtful in how we contribute.

Drive. We’re energized by hard problems. Building AI infrastructure is complex, and we lean into that. We care about doing things well, moving fast, and continuously improving — because solving meaningful challenges is what motivates us.

Grit. Things don’t always work on the first try — and that’s expected. We stay persistent, adapt quickly, and learn as we go. We take setbacks seriously, but not personally, and use them to get better.
