About Just Markets Institute

The Just Markets Institute is a 501(c)3 educational non-profit founded in 2024 by Alex Thompson to teach economics with a focus on sustainability, equitability, and efficiency. We believe a general economics education has the highest return on investment to help people solve many of the world's most critical collective action problems, such as climate change, disease prevention, poverty, war, hunger, and many more national and local issues such as corruption, homelessness, and crime.

About our 2025 Spring Student Internship Program

  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
