Job Description

Position Overview

Turner & Townsend’s Energy & Natural Resources Division is a leading provider of programme management, project services, project controls, contract services, consultancy and advisory services to the resources industries covering Energy & Natural Resources (E&NR), Clean Energy, Transmission & Grid, Mining and Oil & Gas.  We support projects throughout the whole lifecycle from pre-development, through feasibility, concept selection and definition, FEED, delivery of facilities and CAPEX/OPEX investment.

Turner & Townsend is located throughout Asia where we support clients across all sectors.  The Energy & Natural Resources sector plays a key role in our Asia strategic plan.  Due to the continued success and expansion of the Energy & Natural Resources business in Asia, we are interested in speaking with a senior consultant with a proven background in renewable power projects and programmes, who can provide the required leadership, assurance, and business development focus to ensure our strategic goals are achieved.

We are currently expanding our team to support ongoing onshore wind projects, with a particular focus on development management and procurement activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review existing development plans and manage project schedules and costs
  • Lead procurement activities and contract management processes
  • Coordinate, guide, and negotiate with contractors to ensure successful project delivery
  • Engage and coordinate with government authorities, local communities, and other key stakeholders
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Identify opportunities for project improvement and business growth

Qualifications

General Requirements

Experience and credibility in the onshore wind project, with an existing knowledge of, and relationships with, both national and international investing clients and an understanding of their ongoing investment portfolio, both in CAPEX and sustaining capital spend.

Your track record will have seen you holding senior roles on complex projects, in onshore wind or similarly complex asset classes. Technical understanding of the services that will be offered to clients (Cost Management, Project Controls, Contract Management, Procurement Management, Risk Management, Project Management, etc).
